Claire looking so annoyed thought 'so it's the ignorant games we gon' play now', she glared at him .
She exhaled " what do you want ?", she decided to ask because it's so weird, the boy all girls were clearly falling for is sitting at her own inconspicuous table asking her to be his friend?, does that even make sense .
He must clearly want something else .
Alex knew this approach was dumb but it's not like he had any other means to make her notice him .
"Like I said I just want to be friends with you", he simply said 'at least we start with the dumb way, it's way better than just walking up to her and being like I want you please be mine. That could work, 'no that's even worse', a tiny voice at the back of his mind told him .
Claire now certain that something is definitely wrong with her cause if not why is her whole body itching so badly to be touched by him .
'Oh my I think am totally insane now, what's wrong with me?', she groaned inwardly trying to stay calm on the outside while her mind is a mess
" Why... ", She has to stop cause her voice sounded so breathless and she didn't want to let the boy know what his mere voice could do to her .
'What if he then touches you, you will feel even better', that tiny voice in her head said again.
Alexander smirked,'at least am not the only one feeling this way'.
Claire didn't notice the smirk cause she was so distracted by her own odd feelings
'Odd feelings, no she doesn't find it odd more like .... What the ...',She almost cursed because of where her thought were heading to. She exhaled and looked at Alexander again, this time a little fierce cause he is the cause of her feelings, all this weird and the annoying yet so sweet part of it all is that she feels so safe being this close to him, that she wishes she could snuggle him more closely.
If anybody says Alexander doesn't understand what's going on with Claire, that's a big lie. He knows and he is enjoying every single part of it. Is it the squirming, or the cute not so fierce looks, or the pouting lips that he so badly wants to kiss, he knows a lot of the things going on with her but he can't tell her yet he is still enjoying it .
"Why I want to be your friend you say", he repeated the question or more like saying it to her as though her question doesn't make sense . She wanted to talk but he beat her to it
"Cause I like you, you are sweet, kind and beautiful", he said that as a matter of fact smiling .
Claire looked at him her thoughts were going haywire. She was touched by what he said,' why?' just that one word he said made all her anger go down the drain, as if it had been waiting to hear those words for a long time. She blushed at her stupid yet weird thought but mostly at what he said . She decided to continue acting tough .
"What do you mean by you like me, someone you just met", her stuttering almost gave her away
"I like you all of you what's so wrong with that", he said as though he saying an already suppose to know fact .
'What is wrong with this guy', she thought speechless as to what to say again
"What do you know, you are just a new guy", she muttered but he heard her clearly . She looked down shyly focused on her food
" I know a lot about this school, your family and most especially because you are my ....", He kept quiet immediately he almost exposed himself.
If Claire hadn't been distracted by the things he said about knowing her she would have picked offense, that he investigated her, or what. But the last part was the only thing that entered her head 'she was his what?, what does he mean', she thought trying to convince herself she wasn't anticipating to know what she meant to him .
Suddenly she felt something, 'oh no!', She thought and turned there they were staring at her .
'No way, not now am with Alex', she looked back at Alex 'he will start looking at me like the others I can stand others but not him ', she kept on ranting in her mind while packing her bags .
"Where are you going?", he asked looking at her frantically packing her stuff when she hasn't even touched her food yet . It suddenly dawned on Alex he looked at her face again and saw the anxiousness and fear in them. She must be seeing them again.
