Chapter 37 - The Lost World The Illusionary Box

Monster Magis: You wild cat, the time for my disappearance is drawing near. Come on, continue your story.

Monster Cat: Capelli fell in love with me. He lost his mind and forgot his wife, who was in her ninth month of pregnancy.

One day, he went out looking for me in the market, but he didn't find me. He almost went crazy, shouting, "Neela, where are you?"

He wandered away from the village and sat next to a large rock—until I appeared behind him, wearing a beautiful dress.

His eyes were closed when he said, "Leave me… don't kill me."

Then he suddenly grabbed my neck and held the keys hanging from it.

Monster Magis: Why didn't you get rid of him?

Monster Cat: He had a star that could freeze my energy whenever I got angry.

He let go of my hand, opened his eyes, turned around, and stood in amazement.

Capelli: I'm tired of looking for you… come with me.

Monster Cat: Did you feel my hand?

Capelli: No. I thought someone had covered my eyes with black tape.

Monster Cat: Did you feel anything when you touched them?

Capelli: No… you are like pure light.

Monster Cat: Even if you hug me, you won't feel anything.

Capelli: I only felt the keys around your neck. I think I've seen them before, but I forgot where. What are those keys?

Monster Cat: They're the keys to the Lost World.

Capelli: I want to see it.

Monster Cat: Are you hiding something in your pocket?

Capelli: A star.

Monster Cat: I'll give you one of the keys as a gift.

Capelli threw the star aside. Then he took out a small box, inside which he could see a man who looked just like him, speaking to him. The box also contained toys, movies, and pictures of beautiful girls—including his own reflection among them.

He held the box and said: "It looks like my father's green box, except this one is much smaller."

The young man was overjoyed, opening it and gazing at pictures of girls more beautiful than me, as he bid farewell: "Goodbye, Neela."

Monster Magis: Why didn't you get rid of him?

Monster Cat: I wanted to steal the key to his mind, so he would be chained to me for the rest of his life.

Monster Magis: Good idea.

Monster Cat: But the plan failed.

He left me and walked away with the imaginary box. But that star kept attacking me and following him—until I vanished.

Moments later, when he entered the village, the box in his hands disappeared.
