Chapter twenty one:
"We defeated the Empire, and now..." Said Bail Organa.
"Out of the frying pan... And into the fire." Replied General Rex.
Just then a group of Dove Class Anti Capital Ship Interceptor's came towards them. One flew to the Naboo Royal Starship's left, another to the right, sandwiching the Republic between them. Another Dove Class Anti Capital Ship Interceptor flew over the Republic to fly behind them.
"Padme, where should we go?" Said Bail Organa.
"Forward." Replied Padme Amidala.
"Forward? But that will lead us to their main ship." Said Bail Organa.
At that moment, the ship behind them bumped the back of the ship. "We don't have a choice." Replied Padme Amidala.
Cale Lestin nodded his head, and piloted the Naboo Royal Starship forward slowly. He carefully landed Padme's ship in the hangar of their ship. After the Naboo Royal Starship had landed in the hangar of the Steadfast: many B1 Ultra Droids, Scorponek Annihilator Droids and Droidekas approached the freighter.
They were accompanied by a female Kamino who was wearing a black dress. The female Kamino then ordered the droids to stay outside. But she commanded two B1 Ultra Droids to follow her inside the Naboo Royal Starship.
"You and you, watch my back while we're in that ship. But set your weapons to stun if they try anything, my master wants them alive." Said Kina Ha.
"Yes, supreme one." Replied the droids.
"Republic members, I know that you are on the ship. Come on out, I won't hurt you as long as you don't attack." Said Kina Ha as she looked in every direction on the Naboo Royal Starship.
General Rex, Cale Lestin, Bail Organa and Padme Amidala saw the droids approaching.
"Do you think that we should hide in the smuggling compartments again?" Said General Rex.
Bail Organa just shrugged and looked at Padme Amidala for advice.
"I, think that we should just turn ourselves in. There's no way everyone will fit in the smuggling compartments." Replied Padme Amidala.
"They are already here." Said Cale Lestin.
"If we don't turn ourselves in now we'll have to turn in to the Empire later." Replied Bail Organa.
"I would rather die than turn myself in to the Empire." Said General Rex, knowing that he would be servery punished for betraying the Empire.
Commander Cody then nodded his head, remembering his experience as a commander of the Empire.
Padme Amidala then turned on a com unit. "Lieutenant Connix, gather the Republic we're turning ourselves in." Said Padme Amidala.
"What?" Replied Kaydel.
"Just do it." Said Padme Amidala.
"Yes ma'am." Replied Kaydel then she hurried to gather the Republic.
General Rex then went to go get Asoka Tano. He then shook her up gently. "Wake up." Said Senator General Rex.
Asoka Tano then opened her eyes. "Rex?" She replied.
"We have to turn ourselves in." Said General Rex.
"To the Empire?" Replied Asoka Tano and the last thing that she remembered was the battle of Yavin 4.
"No." Said General Rex.
"Then who?" Replied Asoka Tano.
"We're not sure." Said General Rex.
Then he helped her stand up. Slowly but surely the Republic stepped out to meet the group that had boarded the Naboo Royal Starship.
"Come with us, you must be tired from running from the Empire." Replied Kina Ha.
Commander Cody and General Rex then exchanged surprised glances at the invitation.
"Thank you." Said Padme Amidala.
Kina Ha then began to lead the Republic through the massive Lucrehulk. "This ship belongs to my husband. He is a Kaminoian, but it you were wondering what I am, I'm a female Kamino. All female Kaminoian's is Force sensitive. Kind of like the Urai Fenn's." Said Kina Ha.
"You have the Force?" Replied Cale Lestin. He had only met three other Force users. Darth Plagueis, Emperor Palpatine and Asoka Tano. He had began to fear that he and Asoka Tano were the only ones left.
"Yes. But it's not just me, all female Kaminoian's Force is sensitive to the Force. And my husband as the Force too. He's also known for bringing people back to life." Said Kina Ha.
Cale Lestin was amazed. He had never known that there was other Force user's out there. Only seventeen years ago, he had thought that the Force was just a myth.
But there was something else that she wanted to ask. "Your husband can bring people back to life?" Replied Cale Lestin.
"It is possible to learn this power. But he does it by cloning the bodies, and leading their souls to their new bodies. But why do you wish to know?" Said Kina Ha.
Cale Lestin then stepped forward away from the others. "I was hoping to bring back Sev. And Fixer." Replied Cale Lestin.
"Leave it to my husband, he is now aware of what you wish for and he will get it done." Said Kina Ha.
Cale Lestin then nodded his head. Finally someone would come back to the Republic. "Now, you may have noticed that all of the ships in our fleet have Separatist colors and the CIS symbol on their platings. You may have also noticed that there are some CIS Droid Infantry Units, Droid Vehicles, Droid Starfighters, and Warships that was never used during the Clone Wars, like the Dove Class Anti Capital Ship Interceptor's from earlier." Replied Kina Ha.
"I noticed that." Said Asoka Tano.
"Good, now take a look out this view port. See that out there. This is a Manticore Class Star Destroyer." Replied Kina Ha as she pointed to a very powerful looking Star Destroyer, that was covered in weaponry." Replied Kina Ha.
General Rex and Commander Cody's mouths then dropped.
"My husband is very rich, and those Manticore Class Star Destroyers aren't cheap. They're even more expensive than the Protodekas, Scorponek Annihilator Droids, B3 Ultra Droids, and Super Tanks combined." Said Kina Ha.
"This is an amazing fleet." Replied Asoka Tano.
Kina Ha then noticed Cale's broken lightsaber and said. "I will have the Buzz Droids repair your lightsabers. But one will go to Grogu. For he is Force sensitive, does he know that yet?" Said Kina Ha.
"Grogu has the Force?" Replied Padme Amidala.
She did not know that Grogu had the Force, but she had sensed something off about him. It was the Force that she realized.
"Yes. There is a lightsaber construction room through the door there. You can construct a new lightsaber for yourself there." Said Kina Ha.
"Thank you." Replied Cale Lestin.
"Buzz Droids!!! I have a couple of lightsabers that needs to be repaired!" Said Kina Ha.
A group of Buzz Droids then came out, and Cale Lestin and Asoka Tano handed them his broken lightsabers.
"But I am surprised that you did not know that I was Force sensitive." Replied Kina Ha as she lead the Republic to the bridge of the Steadfast.
"I have lived on Batuu my whole life until I was seven years old, shut away from the galaxy. I thought that the Sith was just a legend. And only seventeen years ago I thought that the Force was just a myth. But then it awoken within me." Said Cale Lestin.
"My husband is beyond this door, he is expecting you." Replied Kina Ha before leaving.
