Chapter twenty five:
Meanwhile back on the second Death Star.. the New Confederacy of Independent Systems overheard Emperor Palpatine's orders via an intercepted transmission from a Dove Fighter.
"Darth Zeth! Padme Amidala! General Grievous! We're going to have company! Emperor Palpatine is coming this way!" Said Kina Ha.
Cale Lestin then reached for his purple lightsaber, only to find that it wasn't there. "Um, General Grievous, could I borrow one of your lightsabers?" Replied Cale Lestin.
"Grah! Don't loose this Darth Zeth!" Said General Grievous as he handed Cale Lestin, Darth Revan's purple lightsaber.
"That lightsaber was an ancient Sith Lord's, but the blades are naturally purple. I hope you know how to use it." Replied Kina Ha.
"I've used a single bladed lightsabers before, so this won't be any different." Said Cale Lestin.
"Good." Replied Kina Ha.
Cale Lestin then gasped as he held the purple lightsaber, brief images of Darth Revan and of battles long ago flashed in his mind.
"Incoming here they come!" Said Lama Su.
That pulled Cale Lestin back to reality, and he shook his head to clear the thought. Then he raised the purple lightsaber, ready to fight.
The Tie fighters began to land in the second Death Star. Padme Amidala then immediately attacked them with her E5- blaster rifle.
The Scorponek Annihilator Droids, B3 Ultra Droids, and Protodekas began viciously attacking the Stormtroopers to defend their Masters battle station.
Cale Lestin watched as the droids fought the Stormtroopers. Several of the Stormtroopers fired their blaster's at him. He then ignited the lightsaber and purple blade appeared from end of the hilt. Cale Lestin held the lightsaber in front of him and spun it in circles, deflecting the blasts.
"This lightsaber is nice." Said Cale Lestin.
"Yes it is nice. I killed an assassin to get it." Replied General Grievous.
"You are both doing great, but it's time to step it up. Emperor Palpatine has arrived." Said Lama Su.
"Indeed, he has." Replied Barriss Offee. They all then turned around to face her.
"Second Sister, you are more childish than expected." Said General Grievous.
"General Grievous... Your shorter than I expected." Replied Barriss Offee.
General Grievous then growled before taking out his four lightsabers. "Sith scum." Said General Grievous.
"Quite an army you have here." Replied Barriss Offee as she looked around the room.
"Better than the Empires. No offense Second Sister." Said Kina Ha.
"You haven't seen half of our army yet. Emperor Palpatine has an army of clones waiting." Replied Barriss Offee.
"The Republic wants you to come home Second Sister, and it's not too late to do so." Said Kina Ha.
"It is too late. No one will ever forgive me, not even the Republic." Replied Barriss Offee.
"Don't say that. The Republic, has already forgiven you." Said Kina Ha.
"Why?" Replied Barriss Offee.
"Because I believe in second chances." Said Cale Lestin.
"I will make things right. To all of you." Replied Barriss Offee as she looked at all of them.
Kina Ha then saw a Stormtrooper about to take a potshot at Barriss Offee. "Look out!" Was all she could say before she pushed Barriss Offee out of the way. She then got shot by the blaster in the arm.
A few of the droids then began to shot at the Stormtrooper who tried to assassinate Barriss Offee. "Are you okay?" Said Cale Lestin.
"Ugh. I'll live. But go help the droids that are shooting at the assassin's." Replied Kina Ha.
"That Stormtrooper had already alerted Emperor Palpatine." Said another Stormtrooper.
Darth Zeth and Barriss Offee charged at the assassin's, and began to fight with their purple lightsaber and red lightsaber.
Kina Ha then watched as the Empires Stardestroyers jumped into hyper space. "You saved my life." Said Barriss Offee.
"No need to thank me." Replied Kina Ha.
"I'm the one who should be thanking you... For helping the Republic." Said Cale Lestin.
"You don't need to thank me, all of you would have done the same for me." Replied Kina Ha.
"You better let my husband know what happened. Those Stormtroopers who shot at the assassin's has joined our cause. I'll see you after General Grievous has taken me to the bacta tank." Said Kina Ha.
Cale Lestin just nodded at her.
"120th Legion, I'm putting you all on guard duty for the second Death Star. Welcome to the New Confederacy of Independent Systems, troopers. Make us proud." Replied Kina Ha before she and General Grievous left the room.
Barriss Offee and the 120th Legion then nodded their heads, wanting to earn her trust.
