The Shadow Queen had watched the maids have fun with the lizard and then watched as Rex joined in. It was thrilling to watch the duo play the childish game with the maids.
The Shadow Queen went into her chamber. She pulled out an older looking box covered in what looked like dust. A simple blow to the top showed that whatever was there would not come off.
"Damn shit." She cursed.
She forced the shadows to cleanse the top of the box. Beneath the grim the box looked like something from an ancient civilization with beautiful colors and weird shapes etched on it.
She waited for Rex to finish with the maids. Once he was done, she guided him to her chamber. Rex thought that maybe she was ready to start the next round of poisoning.
When he walked in, he was stupidified at the sight he saw. A decent size table, two chairs around it, something that looked like a board game on top of it, and a mischievous smile on the Shadow Queen's face.
Rex sat down. He was curious as to what this board game was. The smile on the Shadow Queen's face still was mischievous as she sat across from Rex.
"I want you to have fun with me as well. However though, this is a different kind of fun. Then the childish games that the maids were playing."
Rex gulped hard. It was not hard to guess what would be happening here.
"The rules are simple enough. The first person rolls this diamond. This leads that person to either ask or answer the question within the card number that was rolled.
If the answer is correct, then we move up a spot and have to do what the board says. If we mess up an answer we move backwards. Since we are already here at the beginning. We have one free shot before we than have strip off our clothing. When we are fully naked, it is the game's win. We win if we make it to the end here where it says, "Enjoy your honeybee." We can do whatever we want after we reach the end." She spoke.
Rex felt that this was too much of a scandal game to be played. He did like her and her husband but wondering why this game sounds so sexual was the reason why Rex was hesitant.
"How does the board actually work?" Rex asked.
"We have to insert inner energy inside the body or place a tiny amount of our shadow on the body of one of these little creatures together. The game then shifts the underneath according to the energy inside of it or the shadow on top of it.
My husband and I played this when we were young and that helped us get along extremely well. As for right now though, we have a couple of different things going on to help us become better." She spoke with a mischievous voice.
Rex smiled as he decided to give it a try. He did not want to take it too seriously.
"Alright. So this the thing we roll?" Rex asked.
"Yes." The Shadow Queen responded.
"I want to roll it to see how it does first before we truly begin."
The Shadow Queen agreed. Rex rolled and a weird shaped thing appeared on the die. Rex went and looked for the card.
He asked the question as to what the answer should have been. The Shadow Queen got it right.
Suddenly, a piece that the both of them had touched landed on the first square of the game. Rex did not want to know what the underneath challenge.
This was a choice to either hug or fight a mutant thing from a different world.
Both of the chose the different option. This upset the Shadow Queen because she thought that this game would bring them closer together.
The spider option seemed to glow a pink color. While the hug seemed to glow a blue color.
Rex was stunned at this first. Suddenly inside of the room a humanoid woman appeared. She smiled showing her millions of teeth.
"If I get a hug from the two of you together we do not fight. If either one of you decides it is time to stand your ground, well."
The entire chamber instantly become her web. The bed creaked with the strain of the webs pushing and pulls. Rex could feel the strength of the woman spider.
He decided that it would be safe to give her a hug. Rex grabbed the Shadow Queen and forced a hug with her with the humanoid spider in-between them.
"Thank goodness you chose to hug me. I would hate to lose players to the Game of Forbidden Love in a Different World." The humanoid spider disappeared.
Rex began to sweat. He then looked at the Shadow Queen who seemed oblivious to the fact that they were now in serious trouble.
