Looking around to see massive amount of unhappiness after explaining why the lizard and Rex were winning so much. The maids truly did not want to play the card game anymore.
Although it had been fun. The maids did not want to play while someone else would be given the win. Rex thought about it and actually came up with a good idea.
"Instead of us actually playing. What about if we choose a card and once it comes into play we help the next person win? That way only when we actually intervene directly can it be considered alright." Rex told them.
The maids agreed. Rex told the only Royal Knight staying around now which card would be the one to come into play.
Rex walked around massaging and tickling the maids to ensure that they either forget which card that they want to play or do not wish to play anymore.
It seemed unfair to the other maids but when it came to their turn. It was the same as the previous.
After six massages and four tickles around the table. A card got flipped over. The Royal Knight had to speak up for Rex to be able to flip an invasion card off the top.
The other maids gave up after that round. They shuffled and replayed. That same maid decided to flip a card. It was an invasion. Somehow she also got another invasion and SK along with nothing but twenty numbered cards.
It was a sad game two for the other maids. This could have considered random if not for the fact that Rex was indeed the last one to touch her.
The maids decided to try again and allow Rex to decide on another winner. The Royal Knight and Rex had to decide on a winner. It was decided that the first maid to play a card in the teens would be declared a winner.
Although the other maid who had won twice already had played flipped three teen cards. They had decided that she should not be a winner for this game. Finally the maid to the right of her played a ten. Rex went over and flipped an invasion for her. She got the win.
Now that Rex had helped two maids get a win. The other two were hoping for a win. After a quick explanation of paper-rock-scissors, the Royal Knight and Rex played one. The Royal Knight pointed to the one whom he wanted to win.
The maid who won the first round flipped an invasion. She got a SQ and one card to buff her. The next one to win also flipped an invasion with a SA and one card to buff him.
Rex spoke that an invasion card would be flipped over for the next maid. She also got a SA with a much more powerful buff for her SA.
The last one also got told that she would flip an invasion card. She got a SK, SQ, SA, and another invasion for the win.
The maids were happy to play like this because it did make the game much more fun while being unfair to the others who had won a game.
It really did not matter what card the last maid who needed to play was because she was going to win or at least that is what should have happened.
Ten rounds before she even got to play was another winner already decided. Rex even tried to help degrade the others. Nothing worked until she was the one who got to go first.
She flipped an invasion only to cry about nothing but low numbers. The other maids decided to give her the win by playing even lower numbers in their hands.
She did not accept this win because it was no fun like that. She tried again going first. She pulled an invasion and still nothing higher than a seven was pulled.
She was upset but the other maids still had cards lower than that in their hands. After having two unlucky wins back to back. She tried one last time. This was all the others could give her as well.
Yes it was unlucky for her not to pull anything good. It could have also been that they were going to win with an invasion on the top. Right now, none of that mattered.
She had two invasions in her opening hand. She slammed the first one down. She pulled two more back to back. Next two cards were twenty. She was feeling super lucky with this invasion.
That was all she had gotten with the first invasion. The second invasion started. The first card flipped was a Wild Card. She allowed it to play a card from her hand. She played the other invasion.
The rest of that invasion was nothing but low numbered not even a five was played. She had to at least get a Shadow Card for the win to feel like something. She finally got a SA with two poison twenties from the first invasion. It was currently able to straight up kill anything that the others might be able to place without any effort.
The last card of the last invasion just so happened to be a SK. She was so thrilled that she unknowingly kissed Rex in front of the Royal Knight coming in who just so happened to be her Royal Knight.
She did not know why she did that but for whatever reason she did. She even explained that to the Royal Knight. He was not thrilled with it but as long as it was just a kiss on the cheek it was fine.
Now that they all had gotten a good win under their belts. The maids played even fiercer than before.
The two Royal Knights watched as Rex and the lizard left to ensure that they would not interfere with the games anymore. The games being played now were much more fierce and cutthroat than before.
