Chapter 3 - Crimson Alley Bar

Keith didn't actually know where the Crimson Alley Bar was found, he just used the GPS on his phone. Just a few blocks away, he thought as he checked the time, 9:15pm, this time he had actually planned to be a bit ,late that way most of the people would have arrived by the time he reached.

There it was standing in front of him, the Crimson Alley Bar, ironically the bar looked more like a restaurant ,it looked fancier than any regular bar and seemed more prestigious just from the look of it, Keith could already tell he liked this place, Cole really knew him. But there was something bugging him, in the bar's description on the GPS app it was VIP, so he was worried that he wouldn't be let in, but he didn't see any of his friends standing outside and he hadn't gotten any messages changing the venue, so things would be fine, right? There was a line of people running from the side of the door, across the wall to the alley at the end of the block, he saw a couple at the front of the line trying to get in, "Please, just let us in," the man said.

"Sorry, but rules are rules you don't have a reservation, so just make this easy on yourself and leave," the bodyguard said.

"Come on, it's our anniversary, please, "

The bodyguard looked to the side, scratched the back of his head, sighed and whispered, "Ok, go out back, you will see a door, knock four times and a woman will open for you say Tommy sent you and she'll let you in,"

"Thank you so much, honey let's go", the man said.

"Thank you," the woman said.

The bodyguard smiled as the couple moved out back.

Of course Keith didn't hear this exchange and got even more nervous seeing the couple walk away from the bar entrance.

He walked up to the huge bodyguard standing by the entrance, "Name," his voice rough and scary, as he looked at the clipboard which Keith assumed had the peoples names.

"Uh... umm... Keith Miller," Keith said nervously, all of a sudden the bodyguard's personality shifted from cold and distant to warm and kind as a smile appeared on his face as he said, "Oh! Hey, you're Cole's friend, the others are waiting for you inside, Happy Birthday", he then Opened the door.

"Oh!..... uhhhh, thanks, " Keith said as he walked into the bar. The inside of the bar was a mix of rustic and modern, from the entrance the bartenders booth ran across the left wall for about half the length of the room, to the right there were about ten small round tables each with two chairs behind these was a six foot wall,on the other side of wall were six booths, opposite these were two doors, one leading to the kitchen, and one leading to the bathrooms. Keith was amazed by the place but couldn't help wonder what kind of bar had a kitchen, and why the bodyguard seemed to know him, maybe he was the connection Cole used to get them into this place.

Keith was so deep in thought and caught completely of guard when a waitress rushed into him from behind almost knocking him down. "I'm so sorry sir, I didn't mean to...." the waitress said trying to help steady Keith as he interrupted, "No, no its fine I was deep in thought and wasn't moving fast enough but it's fine."

"Are you sure? " she asked worried.

"Yeah I'm fine, " Keith said turning and looking at the waitress, she was beautiful woman with black hair and brown eyes, her skin was tan and soft, her lips were rich and red, she was breathtaking.

"Umm, I'm fine, no need to worry" Keith said stammering.

"Ok," she said smiling as she walked towards the kitchen.

Keith collected himself and headed towards the booths. In one of the booths he saw his friends and walked towards them. The first person to see him from the booth was his older sister, Taylor, she ran up to him and hugged him tight, "Happy birthday bro," Taylor had always been so outgoing, even when they were kids she had always stood up for him, of the two she had always been a little bit taller which was always a ground for her teasing, her hair was slightly darker than his and she was very beautiful, so much so that she had gotten a job as a model.

"Thanks Taylor," Keith said

"Now come on," Taylor said moving to Keith's side and putting her hand around his shoulder, "the others are waiting for you."
