Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 - Mana surge fourth.

Dia rolled her eyes at him, seemingly like she can see his thoughts. She asked in her curious and cute voice, "Mother what category do you fall under?"

"Good question, my sweety. I am a Mage, a Druid-type and a War-type mage. I am a Gold-Cloak Mage." Diana couldn't help but feel proud. She could control many types of different Mana, a multi-talented Mage - one of the best Mages in the kingdom.

Mages were further broken down into different types, such as the Druid, Healer, War Mage, Formation Mage and much others. They specialize in different forms of Mana.

Also Mages are further broken down into different levels. They have different power levels, White-Cloak was for those that just started on the path of a Mage, and can only see the Mana and after, there is Black, Red, Purple, Orange, Cyan, Gold, Silver and Violet Cloaks.

Those are just for mages, after a Mage breaks through from Violet-Cloak, they become a Magus, which is a whole new realm.

The kingdom does not have a Magus, even the king was just a Silver-Cloak and far from breaking through.

And the queen was probably a little weaker than her husband.

"Dia honey. Let me see your progress in the Mana-control." Diana asked Dia to see her power in controlling Mana.

Dia lifted both her jade-like palms and held it up. She closed her blue eyes. Her white-silver hair flowed upwards, and the Mana in the air surged. She was calling the Mana, something Dia practiced in one week which was too impressive because she is only five.

Usually at 5 years of age, little children would see the Mana current flow within the air only. At 6 to 7 years of age, they could see the Mana current flow in living organisms, and at the age of 9 to 10, they can barely call the Mana to flow within them. And above 10 years, teenagers can barely control it yet Dia definitely could do everything.

Dia controlled the Mana to flow within her. The Mana was withdrawn from the atmosphere. The current of Mana twisted around her like a tornado and she is the centre, the so called eye of the tornado. The Mana formed in between her palms and she formed scarlet-violet flames. Those flames seem to burn everything they touched, even Diana was scared of them. Dia had total control over the flames, forming a Phoenix, a type of bird-race, shape with the flame.

Hale looked closer, wanting to touch the flames, he was about to grab the flame but was stopped by Diana.

"Hale, those flames can burn anything they touch upon, even your ashes will not remain." Diana exclaimed and shouted at Hale.

Dia looked proudly at Hale, she twisted her hand again. The flames slowly decreased in size and vanished leaving a shadow of a legendary Phoenix behind. She brought her palms forward once again and called upon the Mana.

The Mana surged forward and a tornado once again formed. The wind-particle nature was summoned. The wind formed a ball on her hand. The blades of wind formed an orb, spinning at speeds that seemed uncontrollable but Dia controlled them perfectly. She shouted and then a second orb formed in her left palm. The wind surged fourth. The Mana was pouring towards the house.

The orbs of wind shrinked in size when Dia closed her palms. The orbs of slicing wind vanished upon the tight shutting of her hand.

But she did not stop her ritual. Her eyes glowed with hints of red, cyan and gold. She shouted once again, the Mana surged forth, like bowing towards a queen, they did everything that Dia commanded. This time, sparkles formed in her palms. Lightning raged fourth. Thunder rumbled in her palms.

Even Diana could not help but exclaim this time. Diana knew Dia could control all the elements with time to come, but so early it was scary. She was only five! It was almost unbelievable to see such progress, but this is her daughter, so why not.

The lightning seemed like they could rip the world into fractions of itself. They lightning formed a butterfly that was gold and blue in color. Dia shouted once again. This time the lightning grew smaller in size and the butterfly of lightning twirled around her. It sat on her palm like a real butterfly and flapped its wings. The wings of the butterfly shimmered with might.
