Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 - Brother VS. Sister, complete wipe out.

Diana stared at Dia asking for her opinion through their eye contact, woman have this way and charm to communicate without even speaking, it was their eyes and various facial expressions. They knew what they were about to say before they even said it.

Hale was always trying to learn these things. But he failed terribly. But he was happy to be a boy, he had a good physique and he don't have those big balloons in front of his chest. He could run and think that he was flying. He was a good climber, climbing everything that was climable, if that made any sense.

Hale stared at Dia. He stuck his tongue out to show that the game is on and he is about to bring it. No hold backs what-so-ever. If he was going to give a beating, it should be done properly and valiantly.

Dia looked at him like she was looking at a clown. She smiled and laughed inwardly. Dia casted water-whip with a Red-Formation. The Mana surged fourth. Obviously she was going easy on him but if she wants to punish, she must do it correctly, as she always thought.

Hale formed a sword with Qi, as he pictured the sword in his mind, he brought it to life. It was an amazing sword that felt like it could slice the sky. It was golden-red and the Qi surged on the sword like the sword was on fire.

Dia flicked the whip. The whip like it had a mind of it's own flew towards him like a snake biting it's prey. Hale sliced forward with a horizontal slash. He thought the whip with be in two pieces after this slash but he thought wrong as the whip twirled around the sword.

Dia flicked her wrist effortlessly once again and the sword was removed from his hand. The tug-of-war was won by Dia as the flick made the whip pull downwards with absolute force. Hale lost his grip because it was a horizontal slash and the force was already acting downwards.

When Diana saw this, she shook her head in disapproval of Hale's bad judgement and weak fore-sight. If a swordsman lost his sword, it was entirely embarrassing and awkward. That was like indirectly forfeiting.

Hale lost, as the whip wrapped around his body and not even leaving his face untouched. He started to scream. Diana raised her right hand to tell Dia to stop. Dia lifted him up from the ground and then released him. Hale fell on his butt which cushioned his fall. He stared at Dia angrily. Why she had to lift him up? Wasn't the match over when she wrapped him up like a sausage?

Dia was happy she won. She taught she used to much effort and she could have done everything more easier. Diana couldn't help but give Hale a fierce stare. She was going to give him a good talk, and it started now.

"Boy, how could you let your sword slip away. If other swordsmen saw that, they would probably quit because of embarrassment since they have a sword-slipper in their ranks. Boy you better listen and listen well. When your sword is gripped by the enemy you push forward in the direction of the enemy. You must stab them. They will dodge so their grip will loosen." Diana wanted to teach him a good lesson but she knew they were still young and had much to learn. Not play tug-of-war with the sword when it's held by the opponent which defeats the purpose of a death match.

"Again! Round two begin." Diana was setting the matches and telling them all their mistakes. Well mostly telling Hale since almost all the matches were lost, all except for one match, Dia was eating a fruit while fighting and she obviously needed to use both her hands to cast a spell.

Diana never spared Dia as well, as she was telling her how to improve her skills and how to win each match more efficiently and more quicker.
