Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 - Learning some skills and spells.

"Mother why the Qi was summoned even if I don't have one of those cultivation techniques you spoke about?" Hale was really curious.

"I guess those that are gifted to summon Qi, can do so naturally in their own way. I'm not sure how or why but it is mysterious and powerful. Cultivators are way stronger than mages. Although Mana is strong as Qi, cultivators strengthen the soul, mind and body to vast levels. Achieving different levels or breakthroughs, they like to say that. " Diana said to him.

Hale was concerned about whether he should tell them about the voice he heard in his mind."Was he finally going crazy like what Dia described it as?" He shook his head and did not let's his thoughts go astray.

"Mother I heard a voice in my head. He was shouting at me and said some funny things. When the Qi surged into me, that's when the voice spoke." Hale declared in his not-so-serious way.

"What did it say?" Dia asked. Looking at him like his cerebrum finally malfunctioned and he probably need some special treatment with some special medicine.

"It said something about conquering all and to never give up. It also said something about changing everything. Obviously it said that I am the only capable person to do those." Hale looked at his sister and couldn't help but perk up his chest like some hero and look at her like he won a race between themselves, which he usually loses when they race for real.

"I don't know anything about the voice, dear. But it should not be that important. You finally a Cultivator that can command Qi. Haha my children are powerful indeed." Diana smiled, a beautiful smile. She was happy that her children were not completely hopeless like how she imagined them to be, because only she knew how hopeless her husband was. Sadly he passed away.

Anyways she never brought up the situation of their father even when Hale constantly asked. She only said he left this world and was seeking Heaven or Hell, either one she wouldn't care.

Diana brought them outside for some special training, which she came up with on the whim. Obviously it's some special exercises to help them strengthen their body's. Most importantly it's to vanquish the laziness inside of them, so they could always strive to work hard and achieve their goals.

Hale was doing push-ups and chin-ups. He was sweating plentiful. He worked his way to sit-ups and finally gave up. Dia faired much better than him as she could control the Mana to provide her with a constant supply of energy. Dia did about a hundred each of the exercises and finally crossed her legs.

She performed some breathing exercises to calm the mind and relieve all the stresses that's built up. She finally was done. They both had a bath and changed to a fresh set of clothes.

Dia looked beautiful with her pink dress and flowers that were embroidered on the edge of the dress. Hale looked like he woke up as he put his sleeping cloths on and wanted to go to sleep badly. He was definitely tired. Dia looked at him like he was a serious diassapointment.

But before he could hit the hay. Diana pulled them outside. They was on top of the mountain after some serious climbing and stretching. They looked from above at their house. It still looked normal. It was big, as the garden and trees were included with the house.

Diana was helping them learn some basic spells and skills. Diana thought Dia of Fire-Ball, a useful offensive spell that mages use to ward of crazy monsters.

Fire-Ball was a basic spell, which mostly consisted of summoning the fire-type magic within the world, and than using that to form a sphere.

Dia did that quite easily and the ball was as big as a tree. She shrunk it down, making it look more pure and more powerful. The flames she summoned was not normal either. It could probably wipe out an entire village if she casted the spell.
