Charles was frantic after her disappearance. He was certain to have her back, but for some reason, she was suddenly off the grid. Even the best snoopers could not whiff her scent.
His only link was the divorce paper on top of his table with a note who her attorney was.
"Sir, the lady and her attorney arrived" Charles stood immediately and walked out of the room. He could not wait any longer not to see his wife. His pulse was running as his expectation arises.
When he opened the door, Sam was sitting elegantly on the soft cushion with her one piece V-neck dress. His world came paused as he continued to be mesmerized by his wife.
Sam on the other hand looked at him like he was a pest in her life. She was not please at all. But she had to look calm. However, he practically knew his wife. He could read through her. Deep inside, he was in joyous state. He knew her to well.
He walked through the room as if he was the king. With his long strides, the room kept quite. He was uptight. His lean firmed body was apparent through his fitted suit. He stopped in front of his wife. Sam was taken back. She did not know what to do. She gripped the chair and was about to pushed herself away from him.
Her slender arm was pulled up. It made her crashed to him. They did not go down to the floor with the impact. Charles was strong on his feet. His body was fit. She was cushion with his steady chest. Sam froze in spot. She did not anticipated his actions.
He wrapped his long slender arms around her as if stopping her from getting away. She looked up as their height was a far from each other. With that, he managed to kiss her intimately. Which made her panicked. She pushed him away. But her struggle was in vain.
"Wife, I miss you" he said as his head was in between her neck. His breathe made her shiver. She could not stop herself to recall their night together a month ago.
"Come" he said and pulled her to the couch. He wanted for her to sit on his lap, but he knew he had to restrain himself from teasing her or his effort would be in vain.
"Wife, " he kneeled in front of her as he held her hands. He looked so harmless, but Sam knew better.
"Can't we become one family again for our child?" he said face to face to her. He was determined to be complete with her.
Sam battled out her thoughts with her brain and heart. She wanted a complete family for her child.
Who would not like to have a complete family?
She knew she still had feelings for this man who struck her with a big knife in front of her along time ago. Could she actually forgive him for their son's sake?
But then she could remembered the despair she had gone through because of that man. She could remember all the tears she had shed for him. She remembered how he turned his back away from her with her child still on her belly.
She looked at him in pain that she could not contain herself to cry. Her agonizing pain that she thought that had disappear as time went on resurfaced.
Charles was surprised how she cried as if it was killing her. He could not help but hugged her.
"I am so sorry" he could only uttered to her.
