It was a long night as Charles continued to eat her. She could not move anymore and still he continued to thrust into her without care if it hurts or not. He was an animal thirst for her.
The morning came, Sam was fast asleep. Charles got up and went to call someone.
"Grandfather, I am sorry I was not able to join the party yesterday," he said. The old man was furious. He was determined at that time to announce the engagement between family of the Sung and Feng but of course the divorce was needed from his grandson old marriage. He could announce her state as dead. But his stupid grandson would not allow it.
"I found her, grandfather. Do not think you can announce nonsense like engaging to the Feng. I am just being a good friend with Clara for we both lost a child" he said and hung up.
He entered the room and snuggled to Sam as she continued to sleep. She was dead tired to how he ravaged her at night.
"I love you so much" he whispered to her ears.
RING.RING.RING
a phone was ringing nonstop. Charles was irritated to how it sounds especially he felt that he wanted the moment of him and his wife together quietly. He stood and went to Sam's purse. He grabbed the phone out of the purse and looked at it. It was registered to Michael. He thought of the man in the cafe. He might be the MICHAEL who was calling at present. He pressed the answer button and said, "Hello,"
"Thank goodness you answer Sammy, I am worried sick to your whereabouts. Your grandfather called me nonstop last night inquiring your whereabouts. Where are you?" the man frantically said.
Charles did not answer immediately, "Sam?" the man questioned.
"This is her husband. My wife is currently asleep and you are disturbing her. thank you for being a good friend of my wife and for caring for her. I will personally call her grandfather. Can you please tell me the number so I can call him immediately?" he said. The man paused.
"You cant call him. he is very angry at you. Let Sam call him" he ended the call.
Charles then understood that Sam was taking shelter to her grandfather. He tried to recall if Sam mention a grandfather before, but he was well aware that Sam lived at orphanage after her parents death. "Who was this grandfather that she found? " he wondered.
He scanned to the messages and indeed he found in the directory named grandfather. He swiped it to the side and the call connected.
"Child, where have you been? Jacob is crying and wanted to see you" the old man said,
"She is with me" Charles said, "We will fetch our child later" he added.
"WHAT CHILD?" the old man understood who he was talking to, "You abandoned my grandchild while she was pregrant just to be with your distraught mistress. How dare you still think Sam will be still together with you?" he angrily said, "She already filed the divorce paper, and anytime now, those paper will be deliver at your office" he added
"I will not divorce her" he said calmly as he tried to understand the anger of her family. He understood how this old man feel for his grand-daughter pain and sorrow that he inflicted. However, he was certain that this old man would not decide his divorce between he and his wife.
"I am just a good friend to the mother of my decease son" he added as he trying to let the old man see that he did mean it to leave his wife alone at that time. Sam's grandfather laughed. He was old but was not a fool. "And you think I will let you have her and her child?" he said, "Not in the million years" he added.
Then a ruckus was heard. A black suit men entered the room without notice. Chaos entered to their home. Charles was pushed to the side as these men came in and barricade themselve between Sam and Charles.
"Young Miss, I came to fetch you" the man said, Sam woke up and immediately stood and grabbed her clothes. She walked to them and nodded at the head captain as if she was telling him they should go.
"Wife" Charles called out, but he was subdued by the other strong black suite men. Samantha paused. She looked back at him trying to be composed.
"I told you yesterday Charles, I am divorcing you" she said and was about to leave. Charles called his body guards to stop Sam from walking out from him. "Do you think I will let you go" he said as if he was with upper hand. However, another batch of black men who were much sturdier than earlier came in and subdued Charles' forces. "Yes you have to," she said.
Then a tear gas was released. Sam was gone.
