The monk sitting in the Pusang car with Gyatso had not fully recovered from the previous radio "exercise". At that moment, the monk received a phone call from Mr. Su Bai.
"Hello, White, how are things on your end?"
"Nothing much." Mr. Su Bai's voice, however, did not reveal whether he was downcast or mad; this seemed to be an instinctive habit of his, only straying from this demeanor when unwell, rarely showing his emotions to others, "Monk, I need to tell you something."
"Go ahead." The monk glanced at Gyatso and nodded to him.
"You guys go back first, I'm going to take a walk." Mr. Su Bai said.
"Okay, fine." The monk hung up the call.
"What happened?" Gyatso asked.
"He said he wants to take a walk," the monk replied.
"And what does that mean?" Gyatso obviously couldn't understand, "Is he just going for a walk tonight and then coming home, or does he not want to come back anytime soon?"
