Extra Chapter Part 2 - 1: Flower Path Never Ends
Today, the sky was exceptionally high and blue. The palace garden was a breathtaking sight with colorful autumn leaves and flowers.
I stood next to Dorothy and looked out my office window. The peaceful autumn scene outside contrasted sharply with Dorothy's tense expression.
Just then, there was a knock on the office door. Dorothy turned to look at it, her hand on her sword hilt, but the voice that followed wasn’t whom she was expecting.
"Your Majesty, it's Cecil."
"Cecil, come in."
"A messenger has arrived from the Grand Duchy of Sutton. His and Her Grace are on their way to Philander."
"Really? They’ll be here in a few days then."
It wasn’t unusual for Edwin and Genise to travel between Philander and the Grand Duchy of Sutton.
As I responded casually, Cecil scratched her chin and added, "They have company."
"Company?"
