Side Story Chapter 14. The Dangerous Grand Duke and Duchess of the South (14)
The man who ran the bakery in the capital took great pride in the goods he baked. In Rudden’s own personal opinion, he could easily give the bakers working in the Imperial Palace a run for their money with his skill set, which was by no means an exaggeration.
In fact, Rudden had been offered the role of an in-house chef in a number of noblemen’s kitchens. Even the Imperial Palace had reached out to him. Rudden, however, turned all of their offers down. There was no need for him to work under others when his own bakery was already booming. That being said, he may have been open to it if the right person came along, but at present, there wasn’t a single person who came to mind.
Today, like any other day, Rudden made his way to the bakery in the early hours of the morning to clean up and prepare the bread in time for the breakfast rush.
