He wasn’t joking. Zahid really was going to carry me around everywhere and if I didn’t say anything, he would genuinely make it so that my feet would never have to touch the ground.
Right away, I ended up having to apply the knowledge that I had only just picked up earlier today.
“I read that it won’t do me any good if I don’t exercise.”
Zahid drew a suggestive smile when I told him that a moderate bit of exercise was essential. The mysterious look in his crescent eye-smile caught me off guard, and when I realized the reason his whole face had lit up, I shouted in a panic.
“…Not that kind of exercise!”
“What kind?”
“…”
Zahid looked at me with a perverted gaze but feigned innocence. It bothered me quite a bit and he burst into laughter at my frustrated appearance.
“Anyway, I can’t do anything too excessive anymore,” I said while side-eyeing him.
“Don’t worry, Aerta.”
