Devin looked at those spears and he felt the spiritual energy in them which made him impossible to ignore anymore. The spears are different from the ropes. Ropes carried only will but the spears carried the intent.
A kind of intent that was unleashed by spiritual energy and the intent that Devin felt was emotion. Emotions that were used by Kyle to make his attack superior. Devin closed his eyes and he felt the intent from the spears.
There were emotions in the spears that made Devin look at Kyle with a new understanding. He opened his eyes and smiled slightly. He used his palms and then slapped the incoming spears one by one.
The spears were easily destroyed and Kyle was stunned when he saw that. Devin looked at him and he spoke,
"Your attacks have strength but no pattern. You are wielding your strength like a kid wielding a dangerous weapon."
Though Kyle knew that, he still felt offended when Devin spoke those words. He pouted slightly and looked at Devin.
Devin smiled slightly and spoke,
"Since you have given your all, it's my turn."
With that, he stomped his leg and the water rose from the shockwave of his legs. Kyle's eyes widened when he saw Devin disappear from the place. He thought that Devin was teleporting but no. Devin's speed suppressed the limits where Kyle could sense him.
Then, someone grabbed him by his waist from behind and Kyle was thrown in the air. Before Kyle could react, he was thrown in the water. The moment he entered the water, something happened.
All the water gathered around Kyle and like embracing someone, it covered Kyle gently. Devin saw this and he was surprised. Kyle didn't seem to notice it. He looked at Devin and shouted angrily,
"You are bullying me. How is it fair that you have so much strength without taking a single damage?"
Devin looked at Kyle and spoke in a calm voice,
"No. Is it because you are too weak?"
These words took a direct hit on Kyle. Ke looked at Devin with a depressed mood but then he became determined. He once again attacked Devin and the result remained the same no matter how he tried.
Devin was inwardly surprised because Kyle lasted so long that even Devin might find it difficult if he were in the same realm in the past. Kyle can take the battle in long terms and just tire the opponent.
He planned a perfect training for Kyle in their next sparring match. The water area shifted slightly and Kyle fell on the training ground breathlessly. He looked at Devin and spoke,
"You must take responsibility. Carry me. I am completely drained because of you."
Devin didn't argue. He picked Kyle and left the arena. For the next week, Devin and Kyle followed the same pattern. They fought and Kyle improved with each fight. He also performed some new moves.
Devin maintained his same routine and he held a meeting and proposed the idea that Kyle mentioned. Hearing the idea, many ideas started to appear and their refinement began.
For the entire week, Devin looked at the spirit sea realm book closely and he also worked on the communication mark. He just needs to contact the person physically and then use his spiritual energy as a bond to establish a mark near the soul. This is too challenging for Kyle.
He also visited The First Hearth to annoy Torin but thanks to that, the value also increased from 2 to 3. Kyle was so angry when he saw that and he stopped visiting Torin but surprisingly, the value reached 5 after that.
Kyle was stunned but then he seemed to realise something and an evil smirk appeared on his face which made the guards in the shadows tremble slightly.
After one week, Kyle realised more about the spirit sea realm and surprisingly, he felt his first stage of spirit sea realm increase a lot. From the book, he realised that the spirit consciousness realm is the defining of self through spiritual energy.
After the consciousness, a sea is formed from the spiritual energy that contains all the self-consciousness and spiritual energy as one. The spiritual energy is then used to manifest outside the body.
The realm is divided into the nine stages where each stage purifies the spiritual energy in the sea of consciousness and increases the density. When the sea of consciousness becomes deep and full of spiritual energy, the peak of the spiritual sea realm is achieved.
He also got the Supreme Seal access but only the first chapter. Using it drains almost all of his spiritual energy. The first chapter is just about the energy forms and the creation of seals but it is also the foundation for the next ten chapters.
Kyle even considered himself a genius because it was easy for him to learn these things and use various applications of them. Thanks to his otherworldly knowledge, he got many principles of the seal and how to use it.
He even prepared a surprise for Devin.
After one week, Kyle can fight Devin. Though he can't defeat Devin now, he was able to remain unharmed.
Kyle was standing in an arena and he looked at Devin opposite to him. He smiled slightly at the appearance and sighed in his heart. The more he looked at Devin the more he seemed to fall for him but he didn't mind that.
He spoke,
"Today I have a surprise for you. I have been preparing for this."
Devin raised his eyebrows slightly when he heard that. He asked the arena and to his surprise, Kyle responded something that is plain with moisture in air only. Devin thought about the terrain and then he nodded.
The scene around them shifted and Kyle appeared in the place he wanted the most. He looked at Devin and smirked slightly.
He made his first move and appeared near Devin. Instead of attacking him, Kyle moved around him and then he made some hand seals. Devin calmly watched everything and then he felt something around him.
For the first time, there was a big surprise in his eyes. For the past week, he was amazed by the improvement speed of Kyle but that was fine but he felt the surroundings pause slightly.
Then Kyle appeared near him and Devin was going to use his palm but Kyle easily dodged and then he touched various places of Devin and retreated quickly. He looked at Devin and smiled slightly.
He spoke in a charming voice,
"Hubby, are you ready for your surprise?"
He didn't wait for the response. He made some hand seals and then his spiritual energy decreased at an alarming pace the various inscriptions lit around Devin. Devin was stunned.
Just as he was about to do something, the surrounding inscriptions lit up and chains of slightly blue coloured chains appeared around him and they all attached them to the place that Kyle selected.
To Devin's surprise, those chains restricted his movements slightly and he felt his qi in his body sluggish since he suppressed his realm. He looked at Kyle and spoke,
"Was that a sealing technique?"
Kyle was pale but he was happy. I'm very happy. He didn't respond right away. He arrived near Devin and then wrapped his hands around his neck. He smiled and spoke,
"Hubby, did you like the surprise?"
Devin nodded when he heard that. Kyle smiled even more and he kissed Devin after that. Devin actively accepted the kiss and looked at Kyle with a deep gaze.
Just as Kyle was kissing Devin, he felt hands on his waist and he was stunned. He looked at Kyle with wide eyes whose eyes revealed mischievousness.
From the waist to the neck, Devin slowly moved his hands and soon they reached the cheeks. Devin's kiss became more and more dominant. Kyle became breathless and he punched Devin's chest but it was useless.
In the end, he stopped struggling because he also lost his senses. When he felt everything around him spin, Devin stopped and parted his lips. He looked at Kyle and spoke,
"This is my surprise for you."
Kyle looked at him with slightly teary eyes and took deep breaths. He buried his face in Devin's chest and didn't look at him for sometime.
After calming himself, he looked at Devin and spoke,
"Devin, I have decided that I am walking on this path. I am going to the supportive path where I will be the support for you all."
He didn't know why but he felt that Devin and others are enough he will choose this path and the Supreme Seal is far more mysterious than he thought. After using it, he gained more insights.
Devin looked at him and he didn't speak for some time. He thought for sometime and then he nodded. After that, he spoke,
"Since you are choosing this path, I will not say anything. The choice is yours and even I found this path suitable for you.
From the next session, we are going to increase the intensity of our training."
Kyle nodded without much thought. He also has some plans for Torin.
