After training with Devin, Kyle was not powerless anymore. He can fight even against someone of tier 3 stage 3 and if he was in water or any water source, he can fight even someone at the sixth stage of third tier. This was the final evaluation Devin gave him.
Kyle was proud of his achievement in just one week and then he decided to pull other matters also. He decided to visit The First Hearth. Devin was slightly displeased but Kyle consoled him and said that it would not take too much.
Devin nodded and today Kyle was present in The First Hearth. He looked at the chefs who were looking at him with a helpless expression. Kyle ignored them and gathered all the ingredients. After gathering them, he asked someone to help him when needed.
At this moment, Torin was not in The First Hearth and Kyle took full advantage of this. He started working on the ingredients. He was going to make the dish that the big sister of the brothel made for everyone whenever she was in a happy mood.
This dish shook the foundations of the kitchen of the brothel but the ending was a surprise for everyone. Kyle was preparing to do the same. Since he had nothing to do, he learned many things from elder sister.
One of them was the foundation shaking cooking. Even he found it strange how the black food created by her became tasty by her and then he was influenced by her.
He snapped out of his thoughts and his eyes dimmed slightly when he remembered all of them. But then he sighed and looked at the materials in front him and the dimness in his eyes was replaced by the determination.
He started on his work and then the chefs were shaken to the core when they saw Kyle working and their eyes revealed horror. Most of them were betas and some of them were omegas.
They whispered among themselves,
"Just what is the boss's partner doing?"
"I am afraid that I will die if I remain here and watch the entire kitchen turn into purgatory."
"Stop. We can't speak such words."
Just then a person with a heavy build and a cut on his right eye spoke,
"Enough. Can't you see the essence of ingredients was safe despite the poor cutting and handling of materials. All of you are chefs but you seem to forget what is happening."
Hearing this everyone became silent because the person who spoke just now was the third head chief who was at the peak of the fourth tier. And they all were the finest chefs so they all can see what Kyle was doing.
But the way he was doing seemed so ominous that they couldn't help it. In the end, they held their fear and looked at the scene happening in front of them.
Kyle was focusing with everything he had on the cooking in front of him. After two hours, the results of his cooking were almost in front of him. He turned and looked at others. Before he could speak, he paused.
The colour on everyone's faces drained and they all looked at him with fear in their eyes. Even the third head chef was the same. Though he was calmer than others, the fear in his eyes was not fake.
The third head chef has never seen in his life who can make the art of cooking into something that induces fear in everyone's hearts with mere thought. He looked at the condition of the kitchen in front of him.
The burnt marks everywhere, the slices of the knives and the splash of liquid scattered. The most dangerous was the appearance of Kyle as he looked at them. He was half black and half of his body was stained with ingredients.
He looked at them and spoke,
"So, is anyone willing to have a taste of my cooking?"
Hearing this, everyone took one step back including the third head chef. Seeing this, Kyle changed his expression and he looked at them with an evil look. He spoke,
"I asked you, anyone willing to have a taste of my cooking?"
He released a pressure that was not related to cooking, superiority, or any of that. From the pressure, many gulped and looked at the third head chef with hope. One beta with third tier peak cultivation gathered courage and spoke,
"Boss's partner, we can't eat anything without the permission of head. He is the third head chef and according to him, every cooking must pass through him before anyone can have them."
Hearing this, everyone gave the beta thumbs up in their heart and the head chef looked at the beta with a killing intent that seemed to say, 'you are dead.'
The beta ignored it and looked at Kyle with hope. Kyle smiled and he looked at the third head chef. He spoke,
"So, are you willing?"
The head chef gulped and nodded forcefully. He took a deep breath and took a step forward. In his heart, he developed a fear towards Kyle that was even on a higher level than the boss. Despite being strong, he didn't know why he was fearing this third-tier human in front of him but in the end he sighed.
Just as he arrived near the food, he glanced at the food and his eyes nearly bulged out. He forcefully stopped himself from vomiting on the food and in front of this demon in an omega skin.
He labelled Kyle as a demon in heart. The food was black and purple. The aroma appearing from it was fine but the appearance dampened all the mood.
Kyle served the food and placed it in the hand of the head chef. The head chef suddenly had the thought to take poison. But he couldn't do that. He looked at Kyle who was looking at him with a smile and then he looked at his members.
He closed his eyes and took the spoon near his mouth.
Time seem to froze at this moment but then, the head chef's ears twitched slightly and he spoke,
"Boss is here."
With that everyone froze. And then, they all smiled in their hearts. Kyle looked at the head chef and spoke,
"So what? Eat."
The head chef froze. He looked at Kyle and an idea appeared in his mind. He spoke with a smile,
"Boss's partner, since you made this for the boss, why not let him taste it first?"
Kyle was stunned when he heard that but then he thought about this and he nodded. He spoke,
"Indeed. I made this primarily for Torin so the first one to taste my food has to be him."
Hearing this, the head chef sighed in his heart and prayed for his boss. Just then Kyle spoke,
"You all can simply call me little boss or by my name. Don't shout the boss's partner. It's creepy."
Everyone nodded and then their saviour entered the kitchen and froze
