Chapter 18 - Chapter 16: Bound by the Night

The Surrender

The air in the private suite was thick with a tension that had been building for six long years. Sonia, usually so cold and composed, found herself lost in the rhythm of Abhay's touch. As she sat on his lap, her hands tracing the firm lines of his abs, she felt a raw power she hadn't known she possessed.

Abhay was a man possessed. He had been seduced by many, but only Sonia—with her unique blend of innocence and new-found fire—could make him lose his legendary self-control. "Wifey," he growled against her skin, his voice thick with desire, "you are being naughty, and I want you. Today, no one stops me."

As the evening bled into the night, the professional world outside vanished. Abhay's touch was hungry and possessive, reclaiming every inch of the woman he thought he had lost. From the curve of her neck to the arch of her back, he left marks of his presence, marking her as his own. Sonia, caught in a whirlwind of pleasure she had never imagined in her past life as Priya, found herself calling his name, her fingers locked in his hair as she gave in to the sensation.

A Truth in the Dark

In the quiet moments before they became one, Sonia looked into Abhay's eyes. Even amidst the passion, her mind flickered to her internal struggle.

"I don't love you," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly.

Abhay paused, the silence heavy between them. He didn't pull away; instead, he leaned down and kissed her with a fierce, angry passion that spoke louder than words. "I know you are angry," he said, his forehead resting against hers, "but we belong to each other. That's why you feel this. That's why you accept me."

He didn't wait for her to argue. With a possessiveness that bordered on obsession, he claimed her. The initial pain of the encounter drew tears from Sonia's eyes—tears that Abhay tenderly kissed away—but it was soon replaced by a deep, rhythmic pleasure that filled the room with their shared voices. They lost track of time, the world beginning and ending within the four walls of that suite until the early hours of 4:00 AM, when exhaustion finally claimed them.

The Morning After

At 10:00 AM, the morning sun filtered through the heavy curtains. Abhay was already awake, propped up on one elbow as he watched Sonia sleep. He traced the lines of her face, playing with a stray lock of her hair, a peaceful smile on his face that his employees would never recognize.

When Sonia finally blinked her eyes open an hour later, she felt the immediate soreness of her body. She tried to sit up, a soft wince escaping her lips.

"Wifey, stay," Abhay murmured, his voice gentle as he pulled her back toward his chest. "You're tired. Let me take care of you."

True to his word, he gathered her into his arms and carried her to the large, luxurious bathtub. He filled it with steaming hot water, stepping in beside her to support her. As the heat began to soothe her aching muscles, Sonia leaned her head back against his shoulder. For the first time since waking up in this body, the "Priya" within her felt a strange sense of peace.

She was still independent, still strong, and still angry—but she was no longer alone.
