Chapter 17 - Chapter 15: The Fire of the Past

Lost in the Moment

As they fell onto the bed, the world outside the executive suite ceased to exist. Their heavy breathing filled the room as they broke their kiss just to gasp for air. Abhay was relentless; his lips moved with a possessive hunger from Sonia's neck—where he left a deep, dark mark—down to her collarbone and shoulders.

Sonia felt a surge of sensation she had never experienced in her life as Priya. Every touch from Abhay felt like a brand. Her hands moved instinctively, one gripping his back and the other tangling in his thick hair. When Abhay's touch became more intimate, Sonia lost all composure, a loud moan escaping her lips that echoed through the silent room.

As he moved to the back of her dress, unzipping it with a steady hand, Sonia gripped the silk blanket, her body arching toward him. The "new" Sonia, the disciplined Priya, was fading. In this room, under Abhay's gaze, she was only a woman responding to the man she had once loved with her whole heart.

A Flash of Red

Abhay turned her back to face him, captivated by the sight of her flushed, red face. The sight of her blushing fueled his desire even more. He kissed her eyes, her nose, and her cheeks with a newfound tenderness before descending once again to her lips.

As her dress fell to her waist, revealing her porcelain skin, Abhay let out a low gulp. He moved his lips to her stomach, his kisses burning against her skin. Sonia's eyes remained closed, her fingers tightly wound in his hair, until she felt him move back up to her face.

When she opened her eyes, they locked onto his. She tried to look away, but Abhay caught her chin. He leaned into her ear, his voice a husky, dangerous whisper. "Wifey, I love you. You are so sexy... and I want you."

The words sent a shiver down her spine, making her blush deeper. She couldn't find the words to reply, so she simply pulled him back down into a wet, passionate kiss.

The Interruption

The fire between them was nearly uncontrollable when a sharp, melodic ringing broke the silence. Sonia's mobile, tucked into a hidden pocket of her official gown, was vibrating incessantly.

The sound acted like a bucket of cold water. Sonia snapped back to her senses, the reality of her "Priya" identity resurfacing. She pushed Abhay with a sudden burst of strength, sending him sprawling to the other side of the bed.

Breathless, she reached for her phone. The caller ID flashed: Aarav.

Abhay, now frustrated and simmering with jealousy, crawled back toward her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder, refusing to let her go even as she answered the call.

"Aarav? Yes, I'm... I'm fine," Sonia said, struggling to keep her voice steady while Abhay began to mockingly kiss her neck, trying to distract her.

Abhay was furious. Who was this man calling his wife during their private moment? He purposely bit her shoulder, making Sonia gasp.

"Sonia? Is everything okay?" Aarav asked on the other end.

"Yes, I'll... I'll call you back," Sonia whispered urgently before disconnecting.

Turning the Tables

Sonia turned around to face Abhay, her eyes flashing. She didn't scold him. Instead, she pushed him back onto the pillows. A daring, playful smile touched her lips—a side of her Abhay hadn't seen yet.

She leaned down and captured his lips in a fierce kiss, then trailed her mouth down to his neck, returning the hickeys he had given her. Abhay's breathing became ragged as he felt her change from passive to dominant.

Sonia reached for the buttons of his shirt, swiftly removing it to reveal his well-defined 8-pack abs. She paused for a moment, her eyes tracing the lines of his physique.

Abhay looked up at her, a triumphant, knowing smile on his face. "Like what you see, Wifey?"
