The Prothom-alo of success

The stream of time flows at its own pace. The two friends from Shiulipur village—Rahul and Karim—are no longer as young as they used to be. Even though there is a chapter of struggle in their lives, the Prothom-alo of success has slowly begun to emerge in the midst of that struggle.

Rahul is now a final year student in a city college. The boy who initially struggled to find himself in the new environment has now changed a lot. He now has confidence in his eyes and firmness in his words. He has started to reap the fruits of studying late at night, working part-time, and holding on to his dreams.

One day, a big project was announced in the college. The topic was—"Use of technology for village development." Hearing this, Rahul remembered his own village—Shiulipur. The dirt roads, limited facilities, and the hard life of the people—all seemed to flash before his eyes.

He decided that he would do this project for his own village.

He started working day and night. His plan was to create a system through which the farmers of the village would be able to easily know the weather information, market prices and modern farming methods. This would increase their crop production, and life would also be easier.

His friends were a little surprised at first, because the subject was difficult. But Rahul did not stop. He would sit in the library and do research, take help from teachers, and use his own experience.

On the other hand, Karim's life also started to change.

The people of the village now started to recognize him not only as a student, but also as a teacher. His teaching style was different. He did not just teach reading books, but also talked about life—how to dream, how to hold yourself back in difficult times.

One day, the headmaster of the village primary school called Karim and said, "If you want, you can work here as a part-time teacher."

This offer opened a new door in Karim's life. He felt both an honor and a responsibility. He agreed.

Now his day became busier—teaching school in the morning, tutoring in the afternoon, and studying at night.

One evening, Karim was sitting under the banyan tree wondering—is his dream really going to come true?

Just then, his phone rang. Rahul was calling.

"Listen! My project has been selected!" —Rahul said excitedly.

Karim happily said, "Really! I knew you could do it!"

Rahul paused for a moment and said, "I am doing this for our village. One day, I will use it in Shiulipur."

Karim's eyes got wet. He slowly said, "We are both moving towards our dreams… aren't we?"

"Yes," Rahul replied, "And everything is possible if we are together."

A few days later, the day of the project presentation came at the college. Big and small professors, judges—everyone was present. When Rahul was presenting his project, there was confidence in his voice and dreams in his eyes.

He said, "The city has developed a lot, but the people of the village are still far behind. I want to bridge this gap through technology."

Everyone was impressed by his words.

When the results were announced, it was known that Rahul's project had come first.

That night, he called Karim and simply said, "We won."

Karim smiled and said, "This is just the beginning."

Meanwhile, Karim has also started seeing the face of success in his own place. The children of the school love him very much. In their eyes, Karim is not just a teacher, but a guide.

One day, a small boy told him, "Grandpa, I want to be like you when I grow up."

Hearing this, Karim's heart filled. He realized that he could really do something.

The light of success is slowly entering their lives, but they know that this is not the end.

This is just the beginning.
