Shineless Moon

The night was cold. There were little snowflake falling from the hollow sky. "Wouldn't you eat papa?" she said with a pale smile. I took the little ounce of bread and kept staring at it. All my life I was just a filthy rat in a world that could offer something far better to her. I was ashamed,the guilt of being so ignorant,not being able to do anything,not being able to give her the things she wanted,yet she gave me her precious smile. "Don't you like it papa?" The smile was weak,yet she stayed strong for me. How selfish I am! "I'm sorry my dear. Would you please take half of it? Would you let me share it with you?" She hugged me with her little hands. That's the last thing we ate together,a small bread,from my shineless moon,bigger than any wealth to me.
