Chapter 3 - The days of struggle

As glamorous as Rahul's life in the city seemed from the outside, it was as difficult inside. Studying in a big college was not easy. Everyone around him was very talented, and the competition was fierce.

For the first few months, Rahul faced a lot of problems. He had difficulty understanding the classes, making new friends was not easy, and there were financial problems. Many times he would think, "Will I be able to do it?"

But right then, he thought of Karim. Karim was continuing his studies despite all the obstacles in the village—that's why he couldn't give up.

He divided his time. Classes during the day, studies at night, and in between, he would earn some money by doing small jobs.

On the other hand, Karim's life was also not easy. His father's illness was getting worse. He had to manage the family's expenses, his studies—everything together.

Still, he didn't give up.

He started teaching the children in the village. Gradually, his reputation for teaching spread. Many people started sending their children to him for education.

One day an old man told him,

"You will be a very good teacher, Karim. You have that quality in you."

This word deeply affected Karim.

One night, Rahul said on the phone,

"Today I am very tired… I don't think I can do it."

Karim smiled and said,

"The day I fell in the storm in the forest, remember? You saved me. Today I am telling you—you can do it."

These words gave Rahul new strength.

Years passed. Both of them continued to fight in their own places. Small successes started coming.

Rahul started doing well in exams. Teachers started recognizing him. On the other hand, Karim became the most beloved teacher in the village.

Their lives were changing, but one thing remained the same—their friendship.

One day, they decided,

"We will not fight just for ourselves. We will do something so that others can also move forward."

This decision was the turning point in their lives.

The days of struggle did not break them—instead, they made them stronger.

They understood that success does not come easily, but those who do not give up—are the ones who win one day.
