Eric put his hand in the inner pocket of his coat and took out an envelope.
He passed it to Daniel and said. "I planned on buying a land in the capital city Solara."
Daniel looked at him with surprise on his face.
"Congratulations." He took the envelope. "Mikhail would be happy when he hears about it."
Eric nodded his head. "I wish to see him happy as well."
Daniel glanced at him before he opened the envelope.
Inside was information about a man named Basil Duncan.
"Who is he?" Daniel asked, skimming through the information.
"He is the broker through which we are buying the land." Eric explained. "He is my son Ronic's friend."
Daniel nodded his head and said. "You wish for me to investigate this man?"
Eric nodded his head firmly.
"For some reason, I feel like he is dangerous." He had a complicated look on his face. "I can't pinpoint it but I trust my gut feeling."
Daniel didn't try to undermine his words. He was also someone who trusted gut feelings.
