Lucian's POV
We got back to Bloodmoon at half past noon and Luna was fine.
She was in Leah's arms in the main sitting room, wide awake and doing that thing where she stared at whoever was holding her like she was conducting a serious evaluation.
Leah was talking to her like she was a full adult, which was either insane or exactly right, and I stood in the doorway for a moment just watching.
The tightness in my chest loosened about ten percent.
Aria brushed past me and went straight to Leah, took Luna without a word, held her so close that Luna made an indignant squeak about it. Aria didn't care. She pressed her face into Luna's hair and just stood there.
"Nadia Reeves sent a threat," I said quietly.
Leah's expression went flat. "I heard. Derek told me." She glanced at Aria. "How bad?"
"Bad enough." I crossed my arms. "How's security been since we left?"
