Aria's POV
Nobody moved for about three seconds after the feed went dead.
Then I turned to Derek. "Get Zayn on the phone. Now."
"I've been trying. He's not picking up."
"Try harder." I looked at Cassandra. "Nadia Reeves. Tell me everything. Right now."
Cassandra had recovered her composure but only just. There was something sitting behind her eyes that looked a lot like fear, and this was a woman who had walked into Bloodmoon compound alone and sat down across from me without blinking. Whatever Nadia Reeves represented to her, it wasn't small.
"She's thirty-four," Cassandra said. "Jonathan's only child. She didn't grow up in the pack world, her mother was human, and raised her in the city. Corporate background. Finance, mergers, acquisitions." She paused. "She's been operating in the background of her father's network for at least three years. I didn't know she'd moved on Silvermoon. That's not in any of my files."
