Aria's POV
I woke up to Lucian's mouth on my neck and his hand sliding up my thigh and I decided immediately that Derek and Viktor and Reeves could all wait another twenty minutes.
"Good morning," he said against my skin.
"Is it?" I tilted my head back. "What time is it?"
"Six."
"Luna?"
"Still asleep. I checked ten minutes ago." His lips moved lower. "We have time."
I pulled him up by the jaw and kissed him properly and he made that sound low in his throat that did something embarrassing to my self-control.
His hands moved under my shirt, warm and deliberate, and I arched into him without meaning to.
"Careful," he murmured. "You're still healing."
"I'm fine."
"Aria—"
"Lucian." I looked him dead in the eye. "I am fine. Stop treating me like I'm made of glass."
He studied my face for a moment, and then he nodded once and kissed me again and this time he stopped being careful.
