Brax Continent, Pollux.
In a castle situated in the Dukedom of the North of the Brax Continent, a strange phenomenon was taking place.
The sky which should have been blue in the middle of the day turned purple with aurora borealis hovering over the castle, there were no clouds, no sound, no lightning, it was as calm as the eye of the storm, but everyone inside the castle knew better.
Athrax held his wife Celine by the hand while she screamed in the bed.
Maids and nurses moved across the room replacing towels and sheets constantly because of the beautiful event going on.
A birth.
"Athrax.", a voice suddenly crossed the room.
"I need to seal the space within this world until your son is born, and I need to rewrite the threads of fate to remove any possibility of anyone knowing that this event took place."
Athrax, Celine, and everyone in the room suddenly looked at a corner seat where no one was supposed to be using.
There sat one of the most beautiful women in existence.
Her eyes covered by a piece of cloth so beautiful, that even the best of dresses worn by royalty in this world paled in comparison.
Her complexion, white as snow, perfect in every way possible without blemishes or marks.
White hair, braided into a crown so beautiful, that even crowns made of gold and gems in this world could not achieve such brilliance.
An aura so mighty, that one could not look her in the face without bowing first.
And finally a voice so beautiful, that it could enchant humans by just hearing her speak.
"Liana... What is going on? Why come down all of a sudden?", Athrax suddenly asked, not worrying about this woman that radiated godly aura.
"Little brother... Your son, has given birth to the Sovereign Phenomenon."
"No! If they find out... He'll be taken away from me, from us!", Celine suddenly shouted at Athrax.
"Relax...", Liana's voice cut through the tension.
"I have sealed the space, and once the phenomenon is completed and your son is born, no one in this world will remember."
Liana said matter of factly.
"However... I will have to seal your son's potential to S rank in this world to avoid anything wrong happening to him, human greed is unpredictable."
Liana then continued.
"He will also only awaken to the Apex Network when he is eighteen and awakens with the awakening stone like most of the people in this world."
The silence inside the room was evident.
"Liana if you do that, our son will be treated as a common awakener, probably ostracized by his peers, considering we are a noble household, and worst considering my reputation!"
Athrax screamed in denial.
"Do you want him to be killed by the greed of this world for being too talented over them?"
Liana asked calmly.
"What do you mean, with me and Celine here, absolutely no one can touch him."
Athrax said without thinking first.
Liana just stared at him, not speaking a word and letting him understand the weight of her words.
"No... It's too soon. I told you I wanted 30 years, it has barely been 7."
"I understand little brother, but if Athrax Voidbane doesn't join the fray against the invaders, we will be in trouble."
"The invaders have started to break through the southern universal barrier, if you and your army do not put a halt to them, we will loose 5% of the universe in the next 10 years.
"I'm fairly certain that I don't need to explain how much this would cost us in the long run, and how much our power might decline because of this, that's not even counting the fact that the enemy would establish strongholds within our borders and have easier access to our people and worlds."
Athrax and Celine looked at each other with unspoken words.
Their eyes conveyed everything that they wanted to say.
The sadness and sorrow for their separation.
The anxiety built in Celine's eyes because her husband was going away to a multiversal war that could cause his death without her knowing.
Suddenly, Celine screamed with all her might and finally a baby's cry was heard.
'Wahh, Wahh, Wahh'
It was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives, but Celine's tears weren't only of happiness but of sorrow for the separation of her husband.
Athrax walked up to Celine, brushing the sweat of her forehead and hair strands that had gotten loose during the process, pulling them back around the back of her ears.
Then, he looked at his new born son.
"Calux Voidbane will be your name, son."
The baby boy, with purple eyes and white hair looked at the man that had just spoken, looking at him with interest.
Not understanding a word the man said, but he could feel a connection with him, so he continued looking at him.
Liana approached, tapped the child's forehead and sealed what needed to be sealed.
She then snapped her fingers, the world suddenly stopped for a second, and then continued as if nothing had happened.
"It's done. No one remembers the phenomenon, your son will be safe. Try to arrange a marriage for him with the royal family, this will at least deter people from bothering him for a few years, since his father will disappear starting today."
Liana then looked at Calux, trying to follow his threads of fate, but was unable to do so.
She found it strange, she was also a sovereign, the sovereign of fate to be precise, so at the very least she should be able to see somewhat into his fate, but she was unable to.
She decided to open the Apex Network, use her administrator privileges to check on her nephew, and almost dropped to the floor when she saw his screen.
Cold sweat was permeated on her forehead, as if she had seen something that was impossible but would certainly explain why she couldn't follow his threads.
This child...
