Chapter 1 - The Curse of the Kaalmayi

In 12th century, the Kingdom of Kaalmayi was a land of silver rivers and dark secrets. Inside the stone-cold heart of the Kaal Bhairav Temple, Queen Bhagyashree stood trembling before the Royal Saint. Behind them, the fierce idol of Bhairav watched with eyes of fire.

"The stars have turned into daggers, my Queen," the Saint warned. "Betrayal breathes in your corridors. But remember: when Kaalmayi is at the edge of the abyss, you shall return from a distant age to hold the sword you cannot yet lift. The mirror of your soul will bridge the centuries."

Suddenly, the temple vanished. The scene shifted to a grand palace hall where Bhagyashree was being swarmed. A hunch of unknown men, their faces blurry and smudged like charcoal, lunged from the shadows. She fought desperately, but they closed in, their movements haunting and relentless. But luckily the Queen was saved by 2 loyal servant couple, and took her to far away.

Lucky woke up with a scream, her sheets soaked in sweat. She was in a tiny, cramped room in modern-day Banglore. For years, this dream—the men, the Queen, the ticking watch—had haunted her. Known to the world as "Lucky" because of her constant, ironic bad luck, she felt like a ghost in her own life. She had no idea that her real name, and the kingdom of her dreams, were waiting for her to find them.
