The war room of the 5-star base was quiet, almost eerily so. Holographic screens hovered in midair, showing the cityscape, escape routes, and the locations of every known hideout linked to Yuri and Kaizer.
I stood at the center, arms crossed, scanning the team. The Havoc, The Apex, and The Shadow Council had gathered, a dozen warriors in total. Today wasn't training—it was strategy. Precision would win this fight, not brute force.
"Listen carefully," I said. "Yuri shot Keifer. Kaizer is orchestrating this. They think they can control the battlefield—but they don't know me. And they certainly don't know how we work together… when I lead."
MJ nodded. "I've mapped every camera, every blind spot. We can control their vision before they even see us moving."
"Exactly," I said. "Here's how it's going down. Everyone pay attention—timing is everything."
I tapped the map. "Phase one: MJ hacks surveillance. This gives us a three-minute window where cameras, drones, and alarms are blind to us."
Thyme raised an eyebrow. "Three minutes isn't much."
I smirked. "It's all we need. That's why phase two is crucial."
"Phase two," I continued, "is the diversions. Thyme and Rylan, you two create controlled chaos at the north and south entrances. Make noise, throw in smoke, and keep them guessing. Kael, Silas, Zephyr, and Nova cover the rooftops. If anyone tries to escape, you intercept immediately. No gaps."
Gorya, Kanning, and Aum exchanged glances. "And us?" Kanning asked.
"You," I said, pointing firmly, "handle the close-quarters. Entry points, hallways, and anyone who tries to engage in direct combat. You're fast, lethal, and precise. No hesitation. Keep Keifer safe if he appears on the field."
Thyme muttered, "So where do you fit in, Jay?"
I smiled. "I go where the fight is fiercest. Where Yuri thinks they have the upper hand, I take it away. I neutralize their threats before they can even react."
Rylan frowned. "And if they double-team you?"
I crossed my arms, confident. "Then I dominate them. Alone. I've done it before. I'll do it again. You all cover the perimeters, the diversions, the exits—and you trust me to control the center. This isn't just strategy. It's choreography. Every move counts, every second matters."
MJ leaned in, already typing rapidly. "I've created a sequence: cameras go offline, doors unlock for specific entrances, drones mislead them into corridors they don't need to be in. We'll herd them exactly where you want, Jay."
"Good," I said. "Phase three is execution. Keep communication to gestures and quick signals. No long chatter. And remember—Yuri is fast, but predictable under pressure. Kaizer is smart, but arrogance clouds his judgment. We exploit that."
Gorya nodded. "And Keifer?"
"Keifer stays out of direct danger," I said firmly. "If he moves, we cover him instantly. He trusts me, and I protect him—always."
Thyme smirked, still skeptical. "You make it sound simple."
I tilted my head. "It's not simple. It's perfect. And when the time comes, if anyone gets greedy or reckless, I'll handle it. Alone if I have to."
Everyone went silent. For once, the bickering stopped. Eyes were fixed on me, absorbing every detail. Respect. Fear. Admiration. They knew I could carry this team through chaos—and that alone made them sharper, more disciplined.
I finished with one final note: "Tomorrow, we move. Yuri and Kaizer won't anticipate this. They won't know what hit them. Keifer stays safe. We strike fast, precise, coordinated. And if anyone tries to test me…" I paused, smirking, "they won't live long enough to regret it."
Thyme muttered, shaking his head, but there was a grin forming. "I don't know whether to be scared or impressed."
"Both," I said. "And that's how it should be."
We left the war room knowing that when we struck, there would be no mistakes. Every step, every shot, every strike had a purpose.
And everyone knew, without a doubt, Jay was the unstoppable force at the center of it all.
