Prologue
He held his breath.
He could only watch the whole situation as if he were a passenger inside someone else's body…
He couldn't believe anything that was happening.
"Who is controlling my movements?" he thought.
He could feel everything… the attacks, the smell of gunpowder in the air, the sound of the soldiers' turbines.
But he felt that someone else was the one controlling his body.
"Is this a dream?"
As the dust cleared, he was able to see her…
A blonde woman, with long hair and silver armor, wielding a sword against those mechanical soldiers.
To his eyes, she looked like a true goddess radiating the light of the sun.
"A valkyrie?" he wondered.
There was no time for questions; his body moved on its own again.
In his hands he held two pistols and fired with a fluidity he had never imagined before, damaging the turbines of the soldiers chasing the young woman.
Each shot was so precise that it looked like he was dancing with the weapons, a deadly choreography.
He tried to hear what that guy was saying; that voice spoke one word after another, as if he were putting on a show?
At one moment, between shot and shot, he ended up face to face with the valkyrie.
She looked at him seriously, as if lowering herself to look at an insect. Her voice was authoritative, intimidating, and her tone somewhat condescending.
"Who the hell are you? You'd better disappear from my sight. This is my fight…" she said.
With a mocking tone, the white-haired young man smiled at her with confidence.
"My name is Trigger, gorgeous… don't forget it."
And the world seemed to stop at that instant, while the two stared at each other.
