Chapter 87 - CHAPTER 87 ROMAN'S HOBBY

CHAPTER 87 ROMAN'S HOBBY

Earlier that day Roman walked along the pavement of the lower district of the city.

He was clad in a loose black shirt with black pants and boots. A black leather fingerless glove on his left hand.

He crimson hair was tied up in a ponytail bring out his attractive facial features.

This earned him quite the stare from multiple people, the ladies especially.

He waved and smiled at those bold enough to say hi and ignored those who stared from afar.

Fury sat on his shoulder, sharp eyes watching everyone while also testing the limits of his recently enhanced perception.

Today, Roman planned to achieve what he had promised himself years ago. He was going to learn how to forge and create beast weapons.

After he learned that his father was a master weapon smith and forger, he promised to follow in that footstep.

Back at the Devil's mountain, Derrick had taught him the basics of crafting. After that he encouraged him to focus more on his weapon skills and ability.

Now, he was finally going to relearn the process.

He got excited from the thought only.

Roman had consciously decided not to wear any beast armor and equipment , even if it was a norm.

The only beast armor he planned to wear was the one forged by himself.

Now the only problem was finding a suitable forge master to learn from.

The lower district was filled with local town folks, farmers and hunters and the likes.

The middle district were filled with the merchants and adventurers and knights while the upper district was for the upper echelons of the palace and rich Nobles.

Roman had decided to start with the lower district because he believed that the greatest talents were mostly found in common areas, or were hidden.

Roman had stumbled upon multiple blacksmith in open forge houses and areas, but somehow, he wasn't interested in watching the muscular brutes slam hammer on heated metals.

After hours of continuous searching, decided to take a break.

He sat on the rooftop of a tall building with legs dangling freely.

He munched a grilled meat steak while Fury focused on a cheese steak.

"I guess finding a suitable master would be harder than I thought huh Fury?'

Fury looked at him and gave a thumbs up.

"But I can't give up now "

He stood on a roof and looked around.

Fury tossed the last cheese into his mouth and jumped on Roman's shoulder.

He let of a squeak and pointed towards a particular direction.

Roman looked towards the spot. He's eyes narrowed and locked on a particular building.

It was a small but sharply designed store that specializes in sales of beast equipments.

"The weapons shop?"

Fury nodded with a squeak.

Fury's instinct were always spot on.

The location was some distance away from them.

Channelling ki to his legs, he leaped off the roof and climbed another, ignoring the gazes and parkouring his way to the shop.

Roman landed on an open space with the shop some feet away.

Reaching the door, grabbed the door knob but the door pulled opened from the inside revealing someone who was about to step out.

Her alluring white skin with pink hair and long bunny ears easily stood out.

She held a silver sword that she had just purchased.

Roman smiled and Fury waved.

Anya raised a brow at the red haired boy.

"Funny meeting you all of the sudden"

She said.

"Hey Anya, what's up?. Well I happened to be in the area and Fury pointed out this shop so I came by"

Roman smiled.

Anya glanced at the smiling squirrel who quickly jumped towards her shoulder.

Anya rolled her eyes.

"I can tell you're searching for something, come in then"

She stepped to side and Roman entered the shop.

The shop was dust free with neatly arranged shelves and weapon rack on both sides.

Roman's eyes glaced at the exotic weapons and strange looking leathers gotten from beast hides. There were even beast bones and crystals properly shelved on certain places.

The receptionist desk stood far ahead.

The store looked bigger in the inside than the outside. But another thought entered Romans head.

"Wait....

He glaced at the sword Anya held.

"Can I see that for a sec.."

She handed the sword and he took it.

A slight shing echod as Roman slowly pulled the sword from it's shealt.

He examined the long silver sword which gleamed softly. It was a double edged blade with runes imbedded in it.

The sword guard was a long steel cross while the long handle was wrapped in black leather.

This was a magical ranked weapon with simple yet exquisite design.

"Based on the sword and the material I see around....is the owner the shop a forger?'

Roman looked at Anya with eyes widen.

"Yeah he is, I buy most of my equipment from here"

She nodded.

Roman thought for a while.

"Do you think he's looking for an assistant?"

He's eyes gleamed.

Anya looked at him with a small smile forming on her face.

To her Roman looked like a kid who just tasted sugar for the first time.

"For someone as strong yourself, I thought you'll join the guild and be an adventurer. I didn't expect you'll want to be a forger"

Anya said.

"Well my dad was a forger according to my mom. I've never seen my dad, this weapon was a gift from him....

He pointed at his dagger.

..... that's why I wanna be a forger, to follow in his footstep...well at least the one I know"

Roman explained with a casual smile.

But from his casual tone, Anya got a whole lot of message.

It was a lot, and based on what she recently learned about The Tiger Clan, she could only wonder.

"Come on, let me introduce you to the shop owner"

Anya said.

She walked towards the desk and hit a small bell.

The bell rang and a tall middle aged man with wild pink hair and beards came out from the inner room.
