{Third Person}
Alexander went upstairs first, changed, and freshened up before making his way downstairs again.
By the time he entered his study, Mrs. Woods was already waiting for him.
She immediately bowed. "Your Highness."
He closed the door behind him and said, "Sit."
Mrs Woods took the seat opposite his desk as he moved behind the desk. "What did you find out?" he inquired.
She folded her hands in her lap. "Her Ladyship has been worried about something indeed."
Alexander's expression became more attentive. "What is it?"
Mrs. Woods hesitated briefly before revealing, "She asked me what would happen if you found your mate."
Alexander froze entirely, remaining silent for a few moments.
Mrs. Woods continued carefully. "She asked what her fate would be if you brought your mate home."
Alexander slowly lowered himself into his chair. The pieces fell into place with uncomfortable clarity.
