It was the morning of Holi, and Raju was very excited. He had bought many colors, water balloons, and even a big water gun. His plan was simple—surprise all his friends before they could color him.
Raju quietly filled his balloons and hid behind a wall near the street. As soon as his friend Aman walked by, Raju jumped out and shouted, "Happy Holi!" SPLASH! The balloon burst and Aman was completely covered in blue color.
Aman laughed and said, "Oh, so you started the war!"
Soon all their friends joined the battle. Everyone was running, throwing colors, and laughing loudly.
Raju thought he was winning because he had the biggest water gun. Suddenly he saw someone walking in a white kurta from far away. Raju smiled mischievously and whispered, "Perfect target!"
Without thinking twice, he ran forward and sprayed a full blast of green color.
But when the person turned around… Raju's smile disappeared.
It was his school teacher!
The teacher looked shocked for a moment. Raju froze like a statue and slowly said, "S-sorry sir… Happy Holi?"
For a few seconds everyone stayed silent.
Then the teacher suddenly laughed and said, "If you start the color war, be ready for revenge!"
He grabbed a bucket of pink color from the children and poured it on Raju's head. Everyone burst into laughter.
Later they all shared sweets like Gujiya and talked about the funniest moment of the day.
From that day, Raju learned one important lesson.
