Chapter 1 - Alucard

Seven million years of human history was about to end.

Not from fire.

Not from plague.

Not from some alien invasion.

No.

Humanity would end by the hands of its own creators.

The gods.

Ironic.

The ones who made them would now erase them.

---

High above the mortal world stood Valhalla.

A hall beyond human reach.

A hall where every pantheon gathered.

Greek.

Norse.

Hindu.

Japanese.

Aztec.

African.

Celtic.

And more.

Gods and goddesses filled the chamber. Some sat. Some stood. Some watched in silence.

In the center sat one old god.

A thin, wrinkled man.

White beard.

Sharp eyes.

He wore a simple Greek tunic.

Zeus.

The King of Olympus.

He looked across the hall.

No fear.

No doubt.

Only authority.

He raised his wooden mallet.

"The Council of the Gods has been assembled."

His voice carried across the entire hall.

"We gather once again… to decide the fate of humanity."

He slammed the mallet down.

BANG.

"If humanity should continue to exist… or be erased."

Murmurs spread instantly.

Gods spoke among themselves.

Some calm.

Some annoyed.

Some smiling.

Zeus leaned back slightly.

"Every thousand years, we hold this vote."

He rested his chin on his hand.

"And every time… we spare them."

A god raised his hand.

Black hair.

Tattoo across his face.

Winged sandals.

Winged hat.

Hermes.

Messenger of Olympus.

He smiled casually.

"So what Pops is asking is simple."

He looked around the room.

"Do we keep them."

Pause.

"Or do we wipe them out?"

Silence filled the hall.

Then—

"Erase them."

The voice came from the side.

All eyes turned.

A tall figure sat calmly.

Blue skin.

Four arms.

Muscular frame.

Ash markings across his body.

Shiva.

Destroyer of Worlds.

Then Shiva raised one hand.

"Oh. That wasn't me."

He smirked.

"I vote to keep humanity. They're entertaining."

A different god stood.

Red skin.

Warrior's build.

Holding a divine spear.

Mangala.

"I vote for destruction."

His voice held no hesitation.

"They have become weak."

Another voice followed.

Soft.

Beautiful.

Cruel.

Aphrodite.

She leaned forward slightly.

Flowers decorated her blonde hair.

Gold jewelry rested against her skin.

Her blue eyes showed no warmth.

"Humanity pollutes everything."

She spoke calmly.

"The oceans are filled with waste."

"The forests die."

"The animals go extinct."

She crossed her legs.

"They destroy the world we gave them."

Hermes tilted his head.

"A bit harsh, don't you think?"

Aphrodite looked at him.

"No."

Other voices joined her.

"She is right."

"They had their chance."

"They failed."

"Erase them."

"They are no longer worth guiding."

The momentum shifted.

More gods leaned toward destruction.

Then—

"Enough."

The voice carried heat.

Power.

Authority.

Everyone turned.

Amaterasu stood.

Sun Goddess of Japan.

Light surrounded her.

Her eyes burned with anger.

"We ruled over humanity."

She looked across the hall.

"We guided them."

"We protected them."

Her voice hardened.

"We did not spend centuries rebuilding Japan… just for you to erase it."

Silence followed.

Then another god spoke.

"I agree."

Poseidon.

God of the Seas.

Golden hair.

Cold eyes.

Perfect posture.

He stood without emotion.

"Humanity still serves purpose."

His gaze swept the room.

"Destroying them harms us as well."

More voices followed.

"I agree."

"They still worship us."

"They still believe."

"They still fight."

Hermes grinned.

"Oh, now this is interesting."

He clapped once.

"Time to vote."

Divine symbols appeared across the chamber.

Each god cast their decision.

Destroy.

Or Save.

The votes appeared.

One by one.

No hesitation.

No regret.

Then—

It finished.

The hall froze.

It was even.

Perfectly split.

Half chose destruction.

Half chose survival.

No side won.

No side lost.

Zeus stared at the result.

For the first time, even he paused.

"...Well."

He leaned forward slightly.

"This is new."

The fate of humanity stood still.

Undecided.

Waiting.

For something.

Or someone.

To tip the balance.

Silence filled the hall.

No one moved.

No one spoke.

Even the air felt frozen.

Then—

"Then I have an idea."

The voice was calm.

Confident.

Every god turned.

He stood among them like he belonged above them.

Devilishly handsome.

Golden hair fell neatly behind his shoulders.

Red eyes glowed faintly.

He wore a perfect black suit, untouched by time.

And from his back—

Angel wings spread slowly.

White.

Pure.

Terrifying.

Lucifer.

The First Angel.

The Lightbringer.

He looked around the hall, meeting every god's eyes without fear.

"I propose Ragnarok."

The word fell like thunder.

The Norse gods instantly reacted.

Odin's eye narrowed.

Thor leaned forward.

Several others stood.

Power filled the air.

Lucifer raised one hand slightly.

"Not that one."

The pressure vanished.

Lucifer smiled faintly.

"I am not referring to the end of all things."

He began walking forward.

His shoes echoed across the divine floor.

"I am referring to judgment."

He stopped in the center.

"If humanity's fate cannot be decided by vote…"

His red eyes gleamed.

"Then let it be decided by strength."

Murmurs spread again.

Interest.

Amusement.

Curiosity.

Lucifer continued.

"Humans."

He raised one finger.

"Against the gods."

Some gods laughed.

Others frowned.

Some leaned forward.

"If the humans wins… humanity lives."

He raised another finger.

"If the gods win… humanity is erased."

Simple.

Clean.

Absolute.

A god laughed loudly.

"Humans? Fight us?"

Another smirked.

"This will end instantly."

Lucifer said nothing.

He simply watched them.

Zeus leaned forward.

Interest clear in his eyes.

"And who are these human?"

Lucifer smiled.

Not kindly.

Not warmly.

But knowingly.

"Oh."

His red eyes glowed brighter.

"You'll see."

A red-haired, muscular god finally spoke.

Thor.

He sat forward in his seat.

His red eyes locked onto Lucifer.

"And how," Thor asked, voice calm but heavy, "will this work?"

Lucifer opened his mouth.

"There is this section, something something—"

"Article 62, Paragraph 15."

Lucifer stopped.

Every god turned toward the new voice.

She stood tall.

Beautiful.

Dangerous.

Long midnight-blue hair flowed down to her knees.

Emerald-green eyes stared forward without fear.

She wore a white dress decorated with feathers and gold.

A Valkyrie.

Brunhilde.

Lucifer smiled faintly.

"Ah. B."

Brunhilde ignored him.

She stepped forward.

Her heels echoed across the floor.

"Article 62, Paragraph 15 of the Valhalla Constitution."

She spoke clearly.

"When conflict arises between gods and mankind…"

"And when the gods question humanity's worth…"

"Ragnarok may be invoked."

The hall grew quiet.

Some gods frowned.

Some remembered.

Some smiled.

Brunhilde continued.

"Thirteen fighters from the gods."

"Thirteen fighters from humanity."

"One versus one."

She raised her hand.

"No interference."

"No armies."

"No tricks."

"Only battle."

She lowered it.

"The first side to achieve seven victories… wins."

Silence.

Pure silence.

Then—

Lucifer chuckled softly.

He looked at the gods.

"Basically what I said."

He gestured lazily.

"But with more lawyer."

He smiled wider.

"Gods versus Humans."

The hall slowly shifted.

Amusement.

Interest.

Excitement.

A god laughed.

"Thirteen rounds?"

Another smirked.

"Humans won't even win one."

Zeus leaned back in his throne.

His old face creased into a smile.

"Oh?"

His eyes glowed.

"This sounds fun."

Thor remained silent.

Watching.

Thinking.

Poseidon said nothing.

But his fingers tapped his armrest once.

Aphrodite leaned forward slightly.

Interested.

Lucifer looked toward Brunhilde again.

"And tell me."

His voice dropped slightly.

"Do you have humanity's fighters ready?"

Brunhilde did not hesitate.

"Yes."

She answered instantly.

"I do."

The great doors at the far end of the hall swung open with a heavy groan.

A tall figure stepped through, crimson coat flaring behind him like spilled blood.

"Sorry for being late," he said, voice smooth and theatrical, red eyes gleaming beneath the brim of his hat.

"This meeting only interested me once the Valkyrie showed up."

He stopped in the center of the chamber, shadows curling at his feet like living smoke.

The man tilted his head, lips curving into a lazy, dangerous smile.

"So tell me, gods… have you ever fought someone like me before?"

The God stiffened up seeing him.

Zeus looked at him. "What are you doing here?!".

The man chuckled. "Wasn't I invited to this meeting".

A well-built old man who has long white hair and a long beard. He has golden eyes with black sclera and an eyepatch over his left eye. He wears a red base robe underneath a purple coat and white cloak with golden trim over it. He almost always carries two ravens on his shoulders, Huginn & Muninn, which Odin uses as wings when he wants to fly, transforming both ravens into a pair of angelic wings

Odin looked at him. "You weren't Dracula".

The Man wagged his Finger, as the sky rumbled. "Don't forget a rule of our world, names have powers all father".

He looked at him. "Alucard is the name I go by".

One of the gods spoke. "That's your name spell backwards"

He looked at them as they shut up.

The god who spoke froze.

Because Alucard was looking at him now.

Not angry.

Not offended.

Just looking.

That was worse.

The god felt his throat tighten.

His next words died before they could exist.

Alucard smiled faintly.

Not at him.

At everyone.

"Yes."

He lifted his hand slightly, adjusting his glove.

"It is."

Dracula.

Alucard.

He did not explain further.

He did not need to.

Thunder rumbled faintly above Valhalla.

Not real thunder.

Something else.

Something older.

Zeus leaned forward on his throne.

His old eyes narrowed.

"What are you doing here?" Zeus repeated.

This time, slower.

Careful.

Alucard looked up at him.

Relaxed.

Casual.

"As I said."

He spread his arms slightly.

"I was invited."

Zeus's fingers tightened on his armrest.

"You were not."

Alucard tilted his head.

"Oh?"

He glanced around the room.

At Hermes.

At Shiva.

At Poseidon.

At Aphrodite.

At Thor.

At Odin.

Then back to Zeus.

"And yet."

He smiled.

"Here I am."

Silence spread.

Not one god laughed.

Not one god mocked him.

Because every single one of them could feel it.

Pressure.

Not divine.

Not holy.

Not demonic.

Something else.

Something wrong.

Odin's single eye watched him carefully.

Huginn and Muninn shifted on his shoulders.

Restless.

Uneasy.

"You weren't invited, Dracula," Odin said calmly.

Alucard's smile widened slightly.

He raised one finger.

And wagged it slowly.

The sky above Valhalla rumbled.

"Names have power, All-Father."

His red eyes gleamed.

"Do not use the wrong one."

He lowered his hand.

"Alucard."

He said it simply reminding the room again.

"That is the name I go by."

The air grew heavier.

Because the moment he said it—

Something acknowledged it.

Something ancient.

Something binding.

Thor leaned forward slightly.

Interested now.

Zeus spoke again.

His voice calm.

But sharp.

"You still haven't answered the question."

He stared directly at Alucard.

"Why are you here?"

Alucard looked toward Brunhilde.

She met his eyes.

She did not flinch.

Good.

He liked that.

He turned back to the gods.

"I heard," he said simply.

"That you planned to erase humanity."

A few gods smirked.

Hermes shrugged.

"Still deciding."

Alucard nodded once.

"I see."

He took a single step forward.

His boots echoed.

"And I thought."

Another step.

"It would be rude."

Another step.

"Not to attend."

He stopped in the center of the hall.

He placed one hand over his chest.

Mock polite.

Mock respectful.

"So allow me to introduce myself properly."

He bowed slightly.

Not submissive.

Never submissive.

"Alucard."

He straightened.

"King of Vampires."

Silence.

Then—

A god laughed.

"A vampire?"

Another god smirked.

"You think a blood-drinker belongs here?"

A third god leaned forward.

"You are beneath gods."

Alucard looked at him.

And smiled.

Not offended.

Amused.

"So tell me, gods."

His voice softened.

Dangerously soft.

"Have you ever fought someone like me before?"

No one answered.

Because deep down—

They already knew.

No.

They hadn't.

Shiva finally spoke, voice calm but sharp.

"What… do you want?"

Alucard grinned.

Without warning, he stepped forward and shoved a minor god out of their seat.

The god stumbled back, flailing. "I… I will fight for humanity!" the god stammered.

Alucard slid into the seat.

"Perfect," he said casually. "What he said"

The hall froze.

Every god stared.

Some mouths opened, some closed again.

Even Lucifer blinked, taken aback.

"Really?"

Alucard didn't flinch.

"Yes."

Hermes leaned back in his chair. He raised an eyebrow.

"You… the Sinso Vampire… the one who almost wiped out humanity in seven days… will fight for them?"

Alucard leaned forward.

Grin still in place.

"Yes."

Shiva blinked.

Thor's fists clenched slightly.

Zeus leaned forward, curiosity sparking in his old eyes.

Alucard raised a hand, as if laying down the rules himself.

"12 rounds of Ragnarok," he said smoothly.

"Fine. If you can beat me—even one round—I'll allow you to keep your little tournament agents the humans."

Brunhilde tilted her head, lips twitching.

"Thirteen, actually," she corrected.

Alucard looked at her, one eyebrow raised.

"Thirteen, huh?"

He smirked.

"Means there's gonna be a tie."

A silence fell.

Not tense. Not heavy.

Just… stunned.

Even the gods weren't sure whether to laugh or be scared.

Alucard leaned back in the chair.

"Now," he said softly, eyes scanning the room.

"Which one of you is first?"

No one moved.

Because deep down, they already knew…

This was going to be a very, very long day.
