Thalia ran towards Thomas as quickly as possible…she hoped to help him (if possible). When she arrived at the top of the temple, she saw a giant figure lying on the ground by the throne covered in "blood".
Thalia gasp loudly…the Itarim God was lying on the ground with a huge hole in its chest. It looked like its "heart" had been ripped out and devoured…this was a God…and yet it looked like a helpless lamb.
"What happened?" Thalia asked in utter confusion.
"Oh, nothing too special," Thomas said casually, "this Itarim thought he could beat me in a hand-to-hand fight because he is a "God"…but he was base-level…nothing special."
The moment the Itarim charged at Thomas in hand-to-hand combat, his fate was sealed. Thomas was a lethal brawler and had dominated the ring as a professional fighter for years…he knew every attack, counter, hold, grab, and even dirty-trick a fighter could use.
He quickly dominated the Itarim by not allowing it time to use its Creation skills. His powerful blows dazed and confused the inexperienced opponent rendering it unable to defend itself from the savage onslaught of attacks.
"Who are you? Why did you attack earth? Are you with the North Empire." Thalia asked
Wheezing the Itarim replied, "Empire…you mean Ra? Haha haha [cough, cough]…I would never join that fool…to think I, a GOD, would kneel at his feet and serve him like a dog…I rather die."
Realizing the irony of his words, the Itarim laughed weakly…his strength quickly fading.
"Who is Ra? What does he want?" Thalia asked with eagerness.
The Itarim said nothing…then moments later it faded into nothing

"Here…I found this on the Itarim…for some strange reason, I think this belongs with you." Thomas said as he handed a Core Shard to Thalia.

Thalia smiled…she felt like a kid during Christmas…so many new toys! She had leveled up a lot during this mission, defeated four Apostles, and upgraded a skill!
Thomas roared a mighty roar and sat on the empty throne…then he patiently waited.
Thalia took advantage of the momentary peace to investigate and inspect the temple. Roughly 20 minutes later, a hoard of giants came running up the mountain. Thalia stiffened at the sight of such a large crowd.
"My name is Thomas Andre; I am the Monarch of Conquest and the King of Giants."
Still sitting on the throne, Thomas continued, "As you can see, your God is dead. I killed him. You now have a choice, you can either submit to me or be killed…I am fine with whatever you choose."
The giants looked at each other in astonishment, then they knelt to the floor.
"KING! KING! KING!" the giants chanted louder and louder.
"From now on, this planet and this universe belong to me." Thomas said with a grin.
