Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Saitama's Bald Head

Inside a somewhat dim rental room, a handsome young man crawled up from the floor.

He looked around at everything with a shocked expression.

"I actually transmigrated!"

The young man's name was Allen. In his previous life, while walking on the road, he was run over by Hundred Tons, who treated him like a speed bump. He felt his vision go completely black.

When he woke up again, he was already in this unfamiliar rental room.

He was still a bit incredulous, but the memories in his mind clearly told Allen that he had indeed transmigrated, and this person was precisely his other self from another world.

But how did this world's self die?

Allen's gaze swept around, finally landing on the steaming roasted meat on the table.

A scene flashed through his mind: he had choked to death because he ate boneless beef too quickly.

Such a bizarre way to die actually existed.

"How can you eat roasted meat without drinking water?" Allen exclaimed in wonder, while also feeling an intense hunger pang from his body.

He walked to the refrigerator, took out a can of ice-cold cola, and started eating the roasted meat.

Allen ate while sorting through the memories in his mind.

His counterpart in this world had lost both parents in an accident five years ago, leaving him alone. He then became self-destructive, drifting through each day aimlessly.

Furthermore, due to the appearance of Monster, he became convinced that this world would eventually be ruled by Monster. So, he spent his last savings on a plate of roasted meat, preparing to die a full-bellied ghost.

"Monster…" Allen frowned deeply as numerous scenes continuously replayed in his mind.

He gradually understood everything; this was the world of One-Punch Man.

Just as Allen was still deep in thought, a knock suddenly came from outside the room.

"Allen-kun, are you alright? I heard some strange noises in the hallway just now."

The familiar voice quickly brought to Allen's mind a bald man with dead fish eyes—that was Saitama, the protagonist of this world, who had a good relationship with his counterpart in this world.

Based on the memories in his mind, Allen knew that Saitama had only recently gone bald at this point in time, and his human emotions should still be very rich.

"I'm fine, I just accidentally fell," Allen responded loudly.

"Then do you need to go to the hospital?"

"No need. Do you want some roasted meat?"

Allen cleaned up the oil stains on the floor, then carried a plate of roasted meat and pushed the door open.

Saitama stood outside the door, wearing a very ordinary white T-shirt, his gleaming bald head reflecting the hallway lights.

He blinked his dead fish eyes, his gaze falling on the plate of roasted meat in Allen's hand, and his stomach rumbled at the opportune moment.

"Uh… is that okay?" Saitama scratched his head, asking somewhat sheepishly.

"Of course, I can't finish it all anyway." Allen smiled, stepping aside to let Saitama in.

Just as Saitama passed by Allen, a burning sting surged into his mind.

Allen quickly lowered his center of gravity to prevent himself from falling due to the pain, gripping the roasted meat plate tightly in his hand.

Then, streaks of electricity coursed through his entire body, the pain vanished, and immediately a translucent, azure-blue panel appeared before his eyes.

[Main World: One-Punch Man]

[Host: Allen]

[Transmigration Value: 100 (Transmigration Value can only be obtained by doing things that change the plot's direction; Transmigration Value can be used to travel to other myriad worlds)]

[Talent: Super Evolution Ability (Approach target, select desired ability to evolve, then self will begin to evolve. Hint: The stronger the desired ability to evolve, the more stringent the required conditions)]

"Are you alright, Allen-kun?" Saitama's concerned voice pulled Allen back to reality.

Allen shook his head, revealing a smile: "I'm fine, I just bumped my head and I'm still a bit dizzy."

"Are you really sure you don't need to go to the hospital?" Saitama's expression still held some worry.

"Really, I'm fine. Come, let's eat some roasted meat." Allen placed the plate of roasted meat in his hand on the low table.

The two sat down in front of the low table. Saitama picked up a piece of roasted meat and put it in his mouth, his eyes immediately narrowing: "Delicious! Allen-kun's dipping sauce is really good."

Allen smiled, opened the panel, and after trying it out to confirm it wasn't an illusion, he turned his gaze to Saitama, who was currently enjoying the roasted meat in front of him.

Allen pretended to casually touch Saitama's hand.

Subsequently, the panel before him quickly projected a 3D image of Saitama, and at the same time, a small panel popped up in front of Allen.

[Please select the ability to evolve: Absolute Strength, Invincible Defense, Super Speed, Infinite Stamina, Breakthrough Limiter, Combat Intuition.]

Allen randomly chose Absolute Strength, wanting to see how difficult the evolution conditions actually were.

[Ability: Absolute Strength]

[Evolution Condition: Withstand Saitama's Serious Punch.]

[After evolution, the host's genes will be altered until they can bear the ability.]

Allen stared at the evolution condition required on the panel, feeling numb; the condition was simply too absurd, wasn't it?

Let alone withstanding Saitama's Serious Punch, even a casual punch from him would be an almost impossible task.

Saitama was just beginning to break his limiter now. Although his current strength wasn't as terrifying as in the anime, he had long since far surpassed ordinary people; any casual punch could send Allen to his demise.

He then looked at the other evolution conditions: either being continuously attacked by Saitama or competing with Saitama in speed.

Allen's eyes twitched slightly until he saw the last one, Combat Intuition, and his eyes lit up.

[Ability: Combat Intuition]

[The host's neural reaction speed and premonition ability will break through human limits, allowing him to instinctively sense sources of danger in combat and make the optimal response in advance.]

[Evolution Condition: Play with Saitama's bald head for ten seconds without taking damage.]

In the manga, Saitama's most inconspicuous ability might be his Combat Intuition, but inconspicuous doesn't mean weak.

Rather, most of the time, enemies couldn't force Saitama to use his Combat Intuition.

That almost precognitive combat instinct allowed Saitama to make the most precise judgments in any situation.

Allen stared at that last condition, a slight smile playing on his lips.

Although this condition seemed a bit strange, compared to the other options that involved getting beaten up, it was incredibly friendly.

However, wanting to be like Saitama, capable of casually catching spatial slashes, was clearly impossible unless he possessed a physique like Saitama's. But analyzing these two talents wouldn't be simple; he could only think about it later.

"Saitama-kun," Allen suddenly said.

"Your bald head looks very smooth."

"Huh?" Saitama was busy stuffing roasted meat into his mouth and was suddenly stunned when he heard this. He subconsciously touched his bald head.

"I also only started losing hair recently. Maybe I've been eating too many strange things…"

"Then can I touch it?" Allen feigned curiosity.

"I've never seen a head so smooth."

Saitama blinked his dead fish eyes. Although he found the request a bit strange, he still nodded in consideration of the roasted meat:

"Yes, you can… but, Allen-kun, why are you suddenly interested in this?"

"I just find it very interesting." Allen stood up, walked behind Saitama, and looked down at that large bald head reflecting the dim yellow light.

He took a deep breath and slowly placed his right hand on Saitama's bald head.
