Esther and John went to the park in a very quiet place. and started talking .
"Do you know why I love you?" Esther. John said.
"No sir. Esther replied.
"I love you because... You are very nice. despite the way that my staff treated you that day. You still choosed to forgive him why". John asked.
Esther was very surprised. because she had no idea that he was aware of everything that had happened.
"You know?" Esther asked gently.
"Yes I do. John answered.
"but how did you know. Sir?" Esther asked again.
"The customer called me later. and told me everything, that had happened that day.and she told me not to fire him. John said.
"Wow. really?" Esther asked
"Yes. She told me how nice you were. and I could not stop myself from falling inlove with you even more. John said.
"Ok sir. But am just trying to help. Esther answered.
"Yes I know. That's why I didn't fire the man. I did not even know my staff's behaves rudely to my customers. am really sorry for what happened that day. John said.
"It's ok sir. Esther replied blushing.
"why is it that when you are talking to me you always blush?" John asked.
"Hmmm... Hmmm I don't really know why. Esther replied.
"Hmm. I think you are shy. John said it with a big laughter.
"why are you laughing sir?" Esther asked.

"Oh really. John asked.
"Yes sir. Esther replied.
"Why do you like calling me sir?" John asked.
"I love calling you sir because I respect you. Esther said.

"Yes Sir. Esther replied.
"not again. John said it nodding his head.
"What happened about that sir?" Esther asked.
"Actually is just that I don't want you to be calling me sir. John replied.
"Oh I see. Sorry sir. Oops I mean sorry John. Esther said it confused.
"Hmmm. You do know that you are a very beautiful lady right?" John asked.
"No I don't. tell me more about it. Esther said it with a big smile.
"Wow. I think ur blushing. John said.
"Me blushing, how?" Esther said while smiling.
" So can we get to know each other more?" John asked.
"Oh yes. Esther replied.
"Ok let's go on with me first. My name is Alex John. am 27 years old, I live with my mom in a big mansion, my dad passed his business to me when I was eleven before he died. John said.
"0h am very sorry about that dear. Esther said.
"it's ok. John replied.
Esther countineud. "Well am 23 years old. and I lost my parents when I was 6 years old. So my step mom has been the one taking care of me since childhood, no matter even though she hate's me.
"Why? John asked.
" Hmmm. I don't really know why. Maybe because am her step daughter. Esther said so in a very sad tune.
"Hey. Why are you sad?" John asked.
"it's nothing. It's just that, my parents died because of my mistake. Esther replied.
"why do you say so dear?" John asked again.
"If I had obeyed them. I wouldn't have found my self in the condition that I am today. Esther said.
"Awww... am so sorry for that "dear". John said.
"Thanks John. Esther said.
"well. You just called me by my name just now. Wow. John said it smiling.
"Hahaha" are you surprised I did not call you sir. Esther said it laughing.
"Yes am a bit surprised. John said.
" Then you have to. Esther said it laughing again.
"well since now that have made you to smile like this. Please continue to smile like that, you look beautiful in it. John said it smiling too.
"really?" Esther asked.
"Oh yes. My darling. John said.
"Esther replied; ok my love.
"Ok what do you like about me?" Esther. John asked.
"what I like about you. is that you are very funny. She said it laughing.
"how am I funny?" John asked.
"The way you smile and tise me. Esther said.
"Oh. Ok. John said.
"Ok can you tell me all your favorite's ?" Esther asked.
"Oh yes. What I like the most is food. John said laughing.
"Food?" Esther asked.
"Yes I love all kinds of food. not as much as I love you. John said.
Esther's heart skipped for a bit. Then she laughed.
"why do men love food like that?" Esther said.
"For me. Men love food because they need to eat. John said.
"Oh really. Is that so?" Esther asked gently.
"Oh yes. My love. John replied.
"Ok. but you haven't still told me about your brother?" Esther asked.
"Hmmm. Forget that boy. John said.
"Why?" Esther asked.
"Is nothing. John replied.
"Ok oh. "but why don't you trust me?" Esther asked.
"why do you say so?" Of course I love you and trust you. John said.
"Well. Then why don't you want to tell me about your brother?" Esther asked.
" My brother is a very dangerous person. Esther. John said it in a sad tune.
"a dangerous person. How?" Esther asked.
"You won't understand what am trying to tell you. John said.
"I will understand if you just go ahead and tell me. Esther said.
"Ok let me tell you the whole truth. My brother was a very nice guy not until my dad passed away. his attitude towards me and my mother changed. before dad had died. Dad passed his properties to us. Me and my brother, but my brother insisted that my dad should not give me anything because he was my elder. John said.
"why did he say so?" Esther asked.
"i don't even know why self. John said.
"but that's not too dangerous. Esther said.
"Yes it is. John said.
"why?" Esther asked.
"it's because John was planning to get rid of me. While I was sleeping, not until I waked up and saw him trying to use my pillow to take my life. John said.
"Am so very sorry for that dear. Esther said.
"it's ok. We tried called the cubs on him. but he managed to excape. Before excaping. He managed to write us a full letter that he will come back for me and my mom in the future for revenge. John said.
" Am so sorry for that dear, I never knew your brother was this wicked. "Am truly sorry. Esther said bowing down her head.
"it's ok. Babe. I understand you. John replied.
"Ok so how's your mom doing?" Esther asked.
"She's doing fine. dear. John said.
"So what are your dreams in life to achieve. If I may ask. Esther asked politely.
"My dreams?" John asked.
"Yes. your dreams. Esther replied.
"Ok my dreams is to make sure my dad's restaurant he passed to me grew bigger and bigger again with new customers. and I promise to make my dad proud someday. John said it with a big smile on his face.
"Well wow. That's very nice of you. Esther said.
"well what about you?" John asked.
Esther replied; my dreams is to be free.
"Free from what?" John asked.
"Free from being mocked by my step mother.
"why do you say so?" John asked.
"is because of. ever since my parents passed away my step mom have been very wicked to me. She always mocked me while I cry. She always cursed me and said am the reason why her husband my dad died. its so sad I don't have anyone. Esther said.
"no you do. am always here for you. John said.
"Ok thanks. Esther replied.
"Ur welcome. John said.
"Immediately John phone ranged. It was his mom calling.
"Hello mom. John said.
"Son where are you?" The mother said on the phone.
"Mom am at the park with Esther. John replied.
"at the park with Esther?" why?" The mother asked on the phone.
Esther was just staring at him. And wondering why the mother said so.
"Mom am coming home now. John said and ended the call.
"why did your mom asked you that?" And why did you cut the call at your mom?" Esther asked.
"no that's because she was very worried about me. John said.
"Ok. Esther replied.
"Am about to head home now. Will you follow me?" John asked.
"Ok yes. I will. Esther responded.
Skipped to John's house. Esther was surprised to see a big mansion.
"Wow John. Is this your house?" Esther asked.
"oh yes. It is. John replied.
"Wow your house is so big. Esther said it with a smile.
"Thanks. John said.
immediately John's mother came out fast fast from the mansion. And hugged him.
"Son. why were you since?" The mother asked.
"I was in the park. Mom. John replied.
"Why didn't you told me you were going out son?" The mother asked.
"actually mom. I didn't want to disturb you. John replied.
disturb me?" why would you do that?". The mother asked.
"Good evening ma. Esther greeted.
"Evening. The mother responded.
"So can we go in now. Mom?" John asked.
"Ok son. You can. The mother said it with a smile.
"Ok mom. Thanks. John said.
John holds Esther's hand and was about to enter the mansion. His mother pulled Esther back.
"wait o. Why are you going?" The mother asked.
"Ma I was about to enter the house. Esther said politely.
"enter which house?" John's mother asked.
"What are doing mom?" John asked.
"Well son. am trying to do what you could have done since. She frowned her face.
"Mom why are you trying to disgrace me?" John asked.
"disgrace you how or when?" The mother asked.
"Mom please stop what you are doing. It's not right. John said.
Esther was so confused and sad of what was going on between them. She was just staring at them. Without knowing what to say.
"Oh you want to teach me who to let inside my house. and who not to?" The mother asked.
"no mom. What am trying to say here. Is that you are doing the wrong thing by stopping Esther from going in. Mom please just let her in. John begged.
"no. My no is No. John. The mother said.
"John please just listen to your mother. Esther said.
"No. Esther. You are mine. and am not going to live you. replied.
"John please just listen to your mother. Esther said it while crying.
"Please my love. don't cry. John said.
"will you short up your mouth. and go ahead and live my house. The mother said.
Esther replied; ok ma. I will. Then she left crying.
"No. no. Esther please don't live me! John shouted.
"That's very good. The mom said.
"No mom. You are very wicked. John said it in anger.
"How son?" Am just trying to be a good mother for you. The mother replied.
"No. Ur not. Instead you want to see me sad. John said angrily.
"Oh my son, don't worry. You are going to thank me later. The mother replied.
"Thank you later. for distroying my life?" John asked.
"No from saving ur life from that fool. She said.
" Mom you've finally successed. John said it angrily again.
"Son why are you doing as if am doing bad for you?" The mother asked.
"Yes you are Mom. Why don't you want me to be with the one I love mom. John said it in a very sad tune.
"Son you know. Your mom wants the best for you. You can't just pick any dump girl you see on the street and call her your love... The mother said.
"Mom you don't care about me why?" John asked.
"Of course I care about you. and I will do anything in order to protect you from that girl.
John went inside his room angrily crying.
