"god work is killing me" Alexander sighs to himself, knowing that he is about done anyways he logs off his computer and laments ever since i obtained this work from home job I've been content with rarely stepping out of this apartment.
"reports of several D tier abyssal entities have been spotted across the lower districts in this past week with speculation from experts that a outbreak is imminent with the hero association stating there is no need to worry as they have increased the amount of D tier heroes patrolling the area and possibly even having C tiers dispatched if the anomaly persists."
Looking at the TV Alexander scoffs "like they would ever send C tiers to a lower district even some D tiers don't even bother with us thinking us poor folk bring them no benefit other than some fame" clicking off the tv Alexander makes his way to his room.
Entering his room he makes his way to the bed when suddenly a loud boom can be heard outside his apartment "the hell is going on" alexander exclaimed when all of sudden a loud crashing noise is heard as hir room descends into chaos the window explodes as a abyssal monster crashes through the window "Oh shit" what do i do it only appears to be the lowest level of monster i might be able to run but where it landed its blocking my escape.
This must be a D tier monster like what the news was saying how did it end up being thrown into my apartment I'm 4 floors up a hero must be near then i should be safe at the very least, taking a deep breath Alexander took a deep breath before looking at the monster that is the source of his apartment being destroyed.
It doesn't seem to be moving maybe its dead as alexanders looks over the monster it appears to be humanoid in shape with grey taut skin almost resembling a gargoyle with no wings while noting its appearance it suddenly opens its eyes.
Alarmed Alexander stumbles back gripping a broken shard of glass as the creature slowly stands on it's feet eyeing down Alexander as food "oh shit where is the hero that threw him here i need help" Alexander screamed out before realizing he is out of time "no i don't wanna die yet there are still books to read and games to play."
Alexander ultimately resolves himself to the fight he must over come if he wants to live standing up preparing to fight the abyssal monster Alexander grips the glass tight cutting his hand just as the monster charges for it's injuries obvious as it limps but still at a speed Alexander barely can keep up with it hits Alexander as the shard of glass deeply embeds itself into the monster causing it to fall towards Alexander leading to both of them falling through the destroyed section of Alexander's room.
As the ground comes closer Alexanders takes advantage of the situation gripping the monster and adjusting it to cushion his landing, Boom as Alexander lands on the monster the shard of glass pushes into the monster deeper as the recoil of the landing launches Alexander off the beast slamming hard onto the ground smashing his body.
Looking around he spots the monster and notices a golden orb leave the monster and flow into him as the orb makes contact Alexander finally passes out his mind finally succumbing to the injuries of being tackled and thrown from a building.
"Oh there you are i was wondering if you were gonna come down" A man in slightly scarred iron armor walks up with a noticeable pair of large gauntlets on his fists and kicks the corpse of the abyssal monster before noticing Alexander's body right next to it "dammit where did this kid come from the association is gonna fine me for this" the man in the armor curses before pulling out his phone and making a call.
