Amory pov
They're are usually stages when trying to seduce a guy, it's actually easy not sophisticated as it sounds, almost all the time, all I have to do is show the slightest interest and then boom they're in love it's quite annoying sometimes and it's so easy to recognize the stage when they fall in love, Constant stare, worried glances, compliment, gift even and ready to give up the world for you, it amusing sometimes, I mean I'll gladly watch a man grovel at my feet, I revel in it so much I can't even wait to see it happening.
But with Kale it's a different story, I obviously want him to grovel at my feet, it's just that considering were we are right now, what I should be concerned about is getting him to be interested in me at least, that man is a brick ice wall, not talking about him physically even though he does look like that physically.
Staring into his eyes leaves me tongue tied most of the time, he doesn't even need to say anything and I'm frozen and my insides are swooning...
Please don't tell anyone of this…
But I'm not exactly bothered because getting attracted to a good looking guy is part of the stages of seducing him, at least I don't have to act much and I can tell I'm making some impact on him, considering the events of yesterday that happened in the nurse office.
I smiled as I recounted how much gentleness he applied and it seems like for a second his eyes did not look so cold, he's hands were warm, and his little whispers of sorry
" Are you still going to continue with your plan of seducing kale"
Carmen startled me out of my Dreamland and I cleared my throat to regain my composure
" yeah " I said turning to her
" So, do you think he's falling in love with you"
" Obviously, but considering our pace it might be longer than usual "
Carmen but her lips as she stared at me, I know she has a lot to say, mainly to dissuade me from leading an innocent guy on but she already knows what my answer will be, so she just stares at me with disapproval
" Don't worry Carm, I'm just going to rock his world, it will be fun and no one will get hurt" even though it seems my own world is getting rocked instead .
Talking of Kale, I haven't been able to get a hold of him since morning, somehow my brain has formed the silly habit of instinctively looking for him in a crowd, I've seen him today during assembly looking like a Greek God and a friend who looks like an Arab model, I was barely able to hold myself before I rushed to him and said things I would not be proud of in the future, I wonder if he searches for me in a group too.
I looked around the cafeteria, he's not here yet, at least I haven't seen him, I haven't eaten and it's not because I'm not hungry, I'm practically starving but I can't tell if I'm waiting for him or if there's another reason why I haven't started eating, I glanced at the entrance and I see him walk in with his friend, with one other person who I have earlier described as an Arab model.
The three walked gracefully to get their food and while I willed him to look at me, my eyes staring at his broad shoulders intensely and as if he could feel the stare he turned and looked at me directly in my eyes for a full 10 seconds and my heart skipped a beat.
He turned his eyes to the food in front of him and walked out majestically as if he wasn't looking at me in the first place... That piece of shit... I think he's doing this on purpose, who stares at someone like that!
" Carmen, let's move to Kale's table"
" Whfttt" she answered with food in her mouth"
" Most of our friends are not here, it's just the both of us, let's go join their table, and also welcome their new friend" I said, already standing and packing my food, Carmen still looked confused as she stood up with me as I made my way to Kale's table.
" Hi Kierson," I called immediately. I got to their table and sat down with my plate of food.
" Hey Amory " he greeted his eyes meeting mine for a brief moment
I watched the three young men sitting directly in front of me, where do you find such fine men anyway... I looked around us to find students, both boys and girls gawking at them. Can't blame them though, it's not everyday you find men that drop dead gorgeous .
" I see you have a new friend?" I said leaving it as a question
" Yeah, his name is Rasheed, he's my brother "
" What!" I say in disbelief
"Adopted" Elijah said with clearly an unimpressed gaze towards Rasheed, " And he's the bodyguard "
I looked between the two, confused on whose answer I should take
" Don't listen to him, he's my brother though adopted"
" Oh please, even the securities in my house don't act like this, look at him, he hasn't raised his head since we got to the table, his jaw is locked and so is his fist and I'm pretty sure he has a sword somewhere in his clothe"
Elijah listened out more annoyed now, I looked at Rasheed and everything he just said is true, why is he sitting so rigid?
" Hey it's fine, he just doesn't like social circles that much" Kale said smiling
"Yeah, and he cuts your fingers, if you touch his hair or kale"
What the hell…
" What!" Carmen said surprised as he continued to stare at the boy that does not even give two shit about what was being said about him, his face is still down facing his food, jaw locked
" That's not true" Kale said
" Yes it is, he cut mine " Eli said strongly
" He just threatened you with a sword, he didn't actually do it"
" It doesn't matter Kale, it's still mental assault, I had nightmares for weeks "
Eli stressed and shuddered as he seemed to recount the memory
" And the other??" I asked looking at kale
And he raised his brow in question and leaned in the table now staring directly to his eyes
" And if I touch you..." I said and raised my left leg under the table stretching it until it touched his leg. I shifted my bare feet to his leg and I watched him freeze before tracing it all over his covered leg. He was now looking at me with an expression that said, " what??"
But I just shrugged, pretending to eat and continued to trace his leg with my feet and moved it down to the open part where his trousers ended, my feet traced around the cold leg and I watched Kale stiffen and his breathe hitched and I couldn't be more satisfied, nothing makes me more happy than to see him so unraveled, his control on everything withering little by little.
" Amory" he called warningly, " Hmmm"
I said absentmindedly, my toes moving inside the little space in his trousers, that was what snapped him out of his trance because he stood up abruptly and instinctively Rasheed stood up with him.
" What, what happened, did something happen"
Elijah asked confused as he looked at the both of them, my lips curved up a little at the sight of the boys standing, partly because of what I did, satisfaction curling in my stomach
" Amory come with me" Kale said and started moving out...' gladly'
I stood up as well and Rasheed followed
" Rasheed stay... it's not up for negotiation" kale said and Rasheed's face hardened but he still came to a halt, staring at our backs as we leave
"Hey!! You can't leave me with this brute" Elijah yelled after us, I looked back to find Carmen staring intensely at Rasheed face biting her lips
Okay that's a first.

I felt a feeling pool down at my stomach as I watched my wrist that was clasped tightly by kale as he walked briskly into the basketball court, I can tell he's not happy with me for what I did earlier but for some reason my mind has refused to consider his annoyance at me, rather I'm more focused on the tingles that keeps running up my arm as we advance into the room, this is not a good sign at all
He came to a halt abruptly and I stopped too but ended up hitting my face on his back that feels like it's made of brick, I was still rubbing my forehead when he turned to me forcing me to look up too, when I saw the expression on his face every humor was wiped away from mine, he looks unraveled and pissed at the same time,
he was breathing heavily too, instead of me to feel satisfaction, I felt regret instead and I suddenly felt the need to apologize immediately
" Don't.. don't do that ever again"
He said with gritted teeth and I nodded immediately, he looked at our hands and released my wrist immediately his eyes dragging to my face, before he closed his eyes for a split second and turned to leave and out of instinct I grabbed at his sleeve before he can get far, I didn't like this expression on him and I caused it, I wanted to apologize but I couldn't get myself to do so, so I just asked the next thing that came to mind " when are we going shopping"
