Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - A Story Foretold

Within the charming urban city of Callisto Valley, you can see a variety of people and cars moving through the peaceful afternoon. On the sidewalk, you can see two people walking close to each. As they're walking, you can hear the pair talking as they make their way towards a building that says, 55 Boxing.

"So, what do you think we should get her for birthday?" The man asks with a smile on his face, as he turns to the woman beside him

"I don't really know. How about the necklace we made for her?" The woman replies back with a calm expression.

"She's only ten years old and I don't want anybody taking it, or she somehow loses it. The necklace should also have some level of meaning, y'know?"

"Well why don't we go inside and ask her when we take her out to eat later?"

The two of them then walked inside the building and were greeted by an old man, who was helping a young girl take off her boxing gear.

"Well if it isn't the "golden boy" himself. How are you doing today, Jack" The old man asked Jack with an energetic tone.

Jack smiles as he hugs the man, while standing over him. Jack is seen with a grey crew neck, with black joggers, and white tennis shoes. His short black afro is kept nice and done, unlike his face that can be seen with many cuts and band-aids, that are seen on his hazelnut colored skin.

"Did you cut your hair shorter or are you going bald on me Jack?"

"Funny Doc, I think you're growing more blind than usual lately."

"How are you this afternoon, Mr Park?" The lady happily questions Mr Park.

The old man known as Mr Park is a short elderly man with dark chocolate skin, with short grey hair that you can barely see on his head. His green and black tracksuit is scuffed up and white shoes have seen better days.

"I'm doing well today, Mrs Iyo, even with your husband's cold words."

Iyo is a young adult seen with clear light-palish skin with long black hair. Her long tight red dress is kept pristine as if it's never been dirtied once, alongside her lengthy clean black heels.

"So what are y'all getting Kai'Ella for her birthday? She's been very eager lately from what I've been seeing."

"We really don't know yet to be honest."

"Well the both of you better figure something out. A gift is not just about giving just to give, but showing that you care about that person. To a kid, that might not mean much right now, though later on when they're older, it will mean the world to them. So it's best come up with something before it's too late." Mr Park looks back as he preaches to the couple.

As they were talking they hear a young girl call out.

"Mamma!Papa!" The young girl called out while running over to the group.

"Hey princess, how were boxing classes today?" Jack asks with a big smile on his face

"It was fun. Mr Parks taught us some new things this time around." The young girl calming responded to her father.

"She is getting better and better each and every time she practices. Overall, Kai'Ella is Improving faster than any of the other kids here." Mr Park speaks with care while looking at Kai'Ella.

Kai'Ella is wearing a red jacket with her black shorts and white sneakers. Her adolescent caramel colored skin is smooth, despite just being active, alongside her long dark black hair that is tied up into two short ponytails to keep any hair out of her face.

"We might have another Hall of Famer in the future that's been trained by the 55 Boxing team."

"I think she'll be a better boxer than her father." Iyo says with confidence while looking at both Jack, and Kai'Ella.

"I think so too."

"Well y'all best be heading out, I need to get this place cleaned up for tomorrow. Also remember son, don't wait till it's too late now."

Jack looks on silently as he watches Mr Park walk away.

Later on in the day, the family went out to a restaurant to enjoy and spend time with each other. While eating Iyo ends up asking Kai'Ella a question.

"So Kai'Ella, is there anything you want for your birthday sweetie?"

"I don't know, maybe a trip to Japan?"

"Why Japan?" Jack asked questioningly.

"Well, mamma is from Japan, and you've been to Japan before. So I think it would be cool to go as a family."

After a few seconds of silence, Jack looked at Kai'Ella and spoke.

"I think that would be a good idea." Jack adds in with a calm tone.

"Really?"

"Yeah I think so. I mean I'm retired from boxing, and we haven't really been able to spend time with each other in a while. So, taking a family trip will be a very good thing for all of us."

"I think that's a good idea as well. Though that means you have to practice your Japanese a lot more before we go. " Iyo says as reacts to Jack's words.

"I think that's a good deal." Kai'Ella says with a smile.

While the family are enjoying their time together, they hear people talking loudly and going outside, as if they are trying to see something. The family end up following the group of people outside, and as they walk out they see something incomprehensible. The sky has gone dark as if smoke painted the sky. The birds chirped loudly while flying around sporadically. Through all of that, an orange glow was visible through the clouds. People all around were in awe from what they're seeing, but for Kai'Ella something is different. Her eyes grow wide, as she starts hearing something or someone speaking to her.

"I have seen your pain. I have seen your hope. Your dreams and nightmares. The cities that have been built and destroyed by your own hands. Power controls everything and everyone, but is balanced by the factors placed upon them. So what happens when it becomes imbalanced. What creations will be destroyed, and what will be created from the destruction. That is the question to people with power." A feminine ominous voice spoke to the people who could hear its message.

Just as it finished speaking, a glowing hand appeared from the dark smoke colored clouds, that is seen with its palm facing down to people.

13 Years Later..

It was an early morning and inside of a small cozy townhouse, the blaring sound of an alarm clock can be heard going off inside of a dark tinted room.

"Cariño, it's time for work!" A female voice yells out that reverberates throughout the room.

Within a cool dim messy bedroom, a toned arm comes out from underneath the blanket, and turns off the buzzing alarm clock. A young woman then comes to the side of her bed, and stretches her body. As the sun came through the dull white blinds, Her tanned-skin glowed and her hazel eyes glimmered. Her short black hair is all disheveled, and large white t-shirt is messy, and creased. As she's trying to wake up, she then looks over at the alarm clocks and her eyes expand with panic, as she notices the time.

"I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR WORK." The young woman screams out while rushing out her room door.

The girl gets up and darts towards the bathroom to brush her teeth while also trying to tidy up her hair. She then scurries to her room trying to put on her clothes in a hurry. As she puts on her clothes, she stumbles trying bolts downstairs, as soon she gets to the last step the female voice calls out.

"I was wondering when you were gonna wake up." The older woman chortled as she made food in the kitchen.

"Come on, Aunt Reina, you could've woken me up sooner. You know how I feel about being late for work. "

Reina is seen middle-aged with olive-like skin, with her long brown hair that was pulled up into a bun. She's wearing a black t-shirt with colored flair plants, and a white apron on top, with her golden earrings glowing so brightly.

"I did Cariño, but you didn't move an inch, but you woke up eventually." Reina quickly responded back in a raspy voice. "Now here's your lunch for work, and please be careful out there."

"Thanks auntie."

The young woman rushes to the door but as soon as she reaches the door knob, her aunt calls out to her one last time.

"Like I said, be safe out there okay? Your birthday is in a couple days and I don't want anything happening to you."

"I'll be fine auntie. I promise."

"Okay, I trust you. Te quiero Kai'Ella."

"Love you too, Auntie." Kai'Ella says as she walks out the door with a smile.
