This time, Riley Perry truly couldn't hold it in and rolled her eyes. "Get your foot off."
Cole Sinclair said, "I'm not finished. This breakfast was all made to your tastes. I don't like any of it. Can I trade you for the breakfast you made?"
Suddenly, Riley Perry curled her lips into a smile at the man before her. Her eyes crinkled, sparkling as if they held a galaxy of stars, and the sight made his heart race. He felt as if his very soul was being lured away.
And then, he felt his body go light. He looked down to see that the woman had actually grabbed his clothes and hoisted him up. With a flick of her hand, he was thrown in front of his own door, and the next moment, the door she had just opened was slammed shut.
Cole Sinclair took a deep breath, his heart clenching so tight he could barely breathe.
At that moment, all he could focus on was his rejection, completely overlooking Riley Perry's incredible strength.
