A knock came at the office door. Henry Hayes entered with a file. "President Sinclair, this document is urgent."
Cole Sinclair took the file, glanced at it, then signed his name.
Lately, a low pressure had settled over the entire company. Henry Hayes had been doing more than his fair share of small tasks like delivering files and relaying messages for others. This was mainly because President Sinclair had been picking apart all the senior executives in the conference room, leaving them terrified.
Only Henry Hayes could get a pleasant look from him. To extend their own lifespans by a couple of days, the executives had given him all the jobs that required facing the president.
Henry Hayes took the signed file and was about to leave when Cole Sinclair stopped him. Tapping his phone, he said, "Go investigate this person for me."
