"What are you laughing at?" Vivian Windsor's expression grew even more irritated as she chided him. "Vince, no matter what happened while you were away, you shouldn't just bring up breaking up so casually. Is love really such a trivial thing to you?"
Vincent Hawthorne stared at her without a word, the cold, mocking smile on his lips deepening.
Vivian grew increasingly flustered under his gaze, her embarrassment turning to anger. "Vince! That's enough!"
Only then did Vincent Hawthorne slowly speak. "You must have been so proud of yourself all these years, haven't you?"
Vivian froze.
'What does he mean by that?'
"Watching me hang on your every word, did that give you a great sense of accomplishment?" Vincent Hawthorne's tone was slow, yet utterly cold. "Taking credit for someone else's deeds, does that not bother your conscience at all?"
A tremor shot through Vivian's heart.
'Impersonating?'
'What… What did he find out?'
'No way!'
