Faye Vaughn completed the tolerance test. It went surprisingly smoothly, and she felt no pain or discomfort whatsoever.
The researchers were stunned, one of them muttering to himself, 'Could it be? Do people who are naturally suited for this kind of travel actually exist?'
Zane Shelby watched the scene in the test chamber from behind the observation glass, a storm of emotions raging within him.
'He was one step closer to his dream!'
'If Faye Vaughn can travel successfully, he'll be able to find "her"!'
'"She" is a celebrity in that world. She won't be hard to find at all.'
'Once Faye Vaughn returns with news of "her," the next step will be for him to risk the journey himself.'
'Even if it kills him, he will die on the path to find "her."'
"Mr. Shaw, you must protect Miss Vaughn!"
A researcher escorted Faye Vaughn out, their excitement palpable. "After all these years, she's the only one! She's practically the chosen one!"
