Chapter — Soryu vs. Kael Draven, Demon King of Blood
The chapter begins with the Seven Demon Kings, followed by a flashback to several years in the past.
At that time, we enter the territory of one of the Seven Demon Kings.
Its name was Demon Abyss Land.
At the center of the land stood a massive dark castle.
Inside the throne room, a powerful man was sitting upon his throne.
He was Kael Draven — the Demon King of Blood.
Kael was sitting calmly when suddenly one of his servants came running into the throne room.
"My Lord!"
The servant looked extremely frightened.
"The Demon King… something terrible has happened!"
Kael frowned.
"What happened? Did one of the other Demon Kings make a move?"
The servant quickly shook his head.
"No, my lord. It isn't the other Demon Kings."
"Then what happened?"
The servant took a deep breath.
"Some people have arrived at the castle."
Kael narrowed his eyes.
"Who?"
"They claim to be members of Kurotsuki."
Kael's expression changed.
"Kurotsuki?"
"Yes, my lord."
The servant nervously continued.
"One of them is sitting on top of the bodies of our soldiers. He says that he wants to meet you."
Kael's expression immediately became furious.
"What?"
His killing intent spread throughout the throne room.
"Who gave them the courage to attack my castle?"
Before anyone could react—
BOOOOOOM!
The enormous entrance gate of the castle was suddenly destroyed.
Dust and pieces of stone flew everywhere.
Someone casually walked through the destroyed entrance.
It was Kurotsuki Member No. 9 — Soryu.
Soryu looked around the throne room.
"Oh my God…"
He looked at Kael.
"OMG! This Demon King looks really angry!"
Soryu immediately raised his hands.
"No, no, no! Don't get that angry!"
He gave an awkward smile.
"We just came here like this. Please don't be angry!"
He nervously stepped backward.
"I'm getting scared…"
Kael stared at him in disbelief.
"Oi, brat!"
His voice echoed through the castle.
"Do you think I'm joking?!"
"You people entered my castle without permission, destroyed my gate, killed my soldiers, and now you're saying that you just came here casually?!"
Soryu immediately waved his hands.
"No, no! I wasn't the one who killed your soldiers!"
Kael's eyes narrowed.
"Then who did?"
Soryu pointed behind himself.
"That was Reizan! He killed your people, not me!"
Suddenly—

A gigantic fireball shot toward Soryu.
Soryu's eyes widened.
"NOOOOOOOOO!"
He jumped away.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! Why are you attacking me?! I already told you I just came here!"
He looked extremely annoyed.
"Seriously! Someone else made the mistake, so why am I the one getting punished?! This is so unfair!"
He pointed toward the direction Reizan had gone.
"That old crazy bastard did it! Don't kill me!"
Kael's anger increased.
"Or what?"
Soryu froze.
"Or…"
He thought for a moment.
"…I'll cry."
Kael's expression twitched.
Soryu continued seriously.
"Then you'll have to give me some tasty food to make me stop crying."
Kael's face darkened.
"You…"
He immediately launched another fire attack.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Soryu casually dodged the attacks.
"Crazy old man! Are you actually trying to kill me?!"
He ran around while shouting.
"I'm an innocent boy!"
"Don't you know that killing me will send you straight to hell?!"
Kael formed another attack.
"I'm not going to hell."
His aura became even more powerful.

Another enormous fire attack shot toward Soryu.
The attack moved directly toward his face.
Soryu's eyes widened.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
He screamed at the top of his lungs.
"HEEEEEELP!"
Kael laughed when he saw him.
"Hahaha! What a coward."
"How did a brat this pathetic even enter my castle?"
"But since he has come here…"
Kael's eyes became cold.
"He isn't leaving alive."
Soryu continued screaming.
"AAAAAAAH!"
But just as the attack was about to hit his face—
His expression suddenly changed.
The fear disappeared.
A strange, sinister smile appeared on his face.
His eyes became sharp.

Soryu slowly raised his hand.

Soryu was still standing.
The only damage he had suffered was a burned hand.

He examined his burned hand.

Then he smiled.

"I can just heal it."

He cracked his fingers.

Kael laughed.

"You're nothing more than an insect."
"I'll turn you into a corpse with just a few attacks."
Soryu made a funny face.

He shook his head.

"This is exactly why people say you shouldn't be too overconfident."
Suddenly—
Kael raised his palm.
A gigantic blue-colored energy attack formed in his hand.

The attack slammed into the ground.
Soryu quickly jumped backward.
The place where he had been standing was completely destroyed.
Soryu stared at the enormous crater.

"What the hell was that?!"
He looked at the destroyed ground.
"If I had been underneath that, I would've died!"
He looked toward the sky.
"Mommy, help me!"
Kael's face twitched with irritation.
"Stop talking nonsense!"
He suddenly jumped into the air and came crashing down directly toward Soryu.
Soryu looked up.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?!"
"You're trying to crush me with that elephant-like body!"
He quickly moved backward.
"Fat bull!"
Kael became even angrier.
Soryu suddenly gathered lightning around his hand.
In the next instant—
BAM!
He struck Kael directly in the face.
The attack was so fast that Kael couldn't even react.
Kael was sent crashing toward the ground.
Before he could recover, Soryu jumped after him.
He spun through the air and concentrated even more lightning around his leg.
BOOOOOOM!
His kick slammed directly into Kael's stomach.
Blood came from the Demon King's mouth.
The enormous impact completely shattered the castle floor.
Both of them fell through the destroyed structure.
Kael was below.
Soryu was above him.
But while falling—
BAM!
Soryu punched Kael directly in the face.
Kael grabbed his nose.
Before he could recover—
BAM!
Soryu landed another attack on him.
Kael's eyes widened from the pain.
Soryu then gathered fire around his foot and struck the side of Kael's head.
BOOM!
Kael was sent flying sideways.
He crashed into a massive wall.
CRASH!
Dust filled the area.
Soryu landed safely.
He looked at the destruction and smiled proudly.
"Did he actually lose after only a few of my attacks?"
He shook his head.
"Pathetic."
"He called himself a Demon King?"
Suddenly, a voice came from inside the dust.
"Oi, brat…"
Soryu's smile disappeared.
Kael slowly stepped out of the rubble.
"I haven't lost yet."
He wiped the blood from his face.
"And I will never lose to a little brat like you!"
Soryu blinked.
"Oh…"
"I thought you were already defeated."
He smiled again.
"Good thing you're still standing."
"Otherwise, I wouldn't have any fun."
"Old man."
Kael's anger exploded.
He charged toward Soryu again.
This time, Soryu noticed something.
Kael's speed had increased dramatically.
Soryu's eyes widened slightly.
"Oh…"
"So you're finally getting serious?"
The two immediately clashed again.

CRASH!
Their attacks collided again and again at incredible speed.
Kael thought to himself—

If this battle continues for too long, I might actually lose.

A gigantic blue flame began forming around him.
The temperature of the entire battlefield suddenly increased.
The surrounding space began to distort and melt under the overwhelming heat.
Soryu's eyes widened.
His usual joking expression disappeared.
He stared at the enormous blue flame.
"…What the hell is that?"
Kael looked at him with a cold smile.
"This time…"
"Let's see how you survive."
The blue flames continued expanding.
The entire battlefield began trembling.
