Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Chandler is a girl!

As the contractions subsided, Lan Chu looked at her finger, which had been squeezed almost to the point of breaking, and felt like crying but couldn't.

Before long, Phoebe's brother walked in. Seeing his sister in pain, he quickly said, "Phoebe, Alice ran into some trouble and might be a little late. Can you hold it in until she gets here?"

Hearing this, Lan Chu widened her eyes, secretly lamenting how eccentric this family was. Phoebe, clenching her teeth, answered word by word, "Sorry, I'm trying my best to hold it, but I really can't anymore!"

Just then, Lan Chu reached out and gently wiped the sweat from Phoebe's forehead. However, before she could react, Phoebe's screams rang out again. This time, the sound was even more piercing, as if it would penetrate the entire room.

Finally, the doctor came in, checked Phoebe's condition, and announced that Phoebe could enter the delivery room.

Only the father of the children was allowed to stay in the delivery room, so I had to step out.

Outside the door, only Rachel remained.

"Why are you the only one left? Where are the others?" Lan Chu asked.

"Joey had some physical issues, and Ross went with him. As for Monica, she probably went to find the male nurse we arranged for." Rachel raised an eyebrow triumphantly.

Lan Chu knew why Joey was uncomfortable. But a male nurse... maybe not. She guessed Monica secretly found a little corner with Chandler... Now, everyone just had to wait... Soon after, Monica and Chandler returned.

"We didn't miss it, did we?" Monica asked. Lan Chu shook her head.

Screams echoed from the delivery room, making everyone's hair stand on end.

"Oh, my god, no wonder my mom always looks at me sideways..." Lan Chu couldn't help but exclaim, instinctively speaking in Chinese.

"What are you saying, Ella?" Rachel asked curiously.

"Oh, nothing. I just think Phoebe is having a really tough time." Lan Chu recovered and quickly explained.

"Exactly... It's truly terrifying..." Rachel agreed, but then immediately comforted Lan Chu, "Don't worry, you'll experience it too."

"Exactly~ You too." Lan Chu said seriously.

Rachel raised an eyebrow.

Time passed minute by minute, and everyone waited anxiously. Finally, Frank rushed out of the delivery room, his face full of excitement: "It's born! Frank Jr. Jr. is out!"

Hearing the news, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and gathered around to ask questions. Chandler was the most excited, eagerly asking, "Wow! How does he look?"

However, Frank's answer was unexpected: "Disgusting! There are still two more!" After speaking, he turned and rushed back into the delivery room.

Everyone exchanged glances, a mix of worry and curiosity rising in their hearts.

But soon after, Frank excitedly ran out again, shouting, "Leslie is out!" He then immediately returned to the delivery room.

Lan Chu suddenly remembered something and patted Chandler's shoulder meaningfully.

"What is it?" Chandler asked, confused.

Lan Chu looked at Chandler's current innocent face with a mischievous smile and said, "Nothing, I just think you are... you are truly beautiful right now."

Chandler paused for a few seconds: "Thank you, Ella. If I were a girl, I'd be jumping up and down with shyness right now."

However, the next second, Frank leaped out and shouted, "Chandler is a girl!"

Chandler abruptly turned his head to look at him.

"Chandler is a girl!" he shouted again.

"Thank you. You just reminded me of my kindergarten nightmares." Chandler said listlessly.

At this moment, Ross, supporting Joey, walked over from the other direction. Joey looked as if he had just survived a battle.

"Joey?" Lan Chu exclaimed in surprise. He wasn't this miserable before.

"I know, this is too difficult, agony..." he said.

Everyone was silent for a moment, likely assuming he was talking about Phoebe, until he pulled out a small bottle of kidney stones and then spoke with motherly affection: "They're so small..."

Everyone stared blankly... "Never mind that, how is Phoebe?"

"Mother and children are safe." Lan Chu answered reflexively.

"Chandler is a girl!" Frank cheered... Phoebe must be exhausted, but we couldn't wait to see the babies.

"I'm going to love you the most~" Monica said tearfully while holding one of the babies.

"Which one are you holding?" Phoebe asked curiously.

"I don't care." Monica said.

Lan Chu took advantage of the distraction to pat Frank on the shoulder, and the two stepped out of the delivery room.

"Uh... your name is Frank, right?" Lan Chu began awkwardly.

"That's right, but it seems like we don't have anything to talk about..." Frank said, stating the obvious.

"Uh... who says? Uh... let me ask you a question. What would you do if someone wanted to take one of your children?" Lan Chu asked.

"Kill them." Frank's gaze became resolute, and Lan Chu was slightly startled.

"No, no, no... not maliciously. Maybe they just saw that raising three children would be too exhausting for you and wanted to share the burden of one~" Lan Chu said.

"I know. You want one of my children." Frank said.

Lan Chu didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "~Ha~ How could that be~ I hate kids~"

"Oh~ Then it must be Joey. Phoebe said he was stealing her thunder."

Lan Chu sighed.

"It's nothing. Congratulations." Lan Chu turned and walked into the delivery room.

Seeing Lan Chu enter, Phoebe looked at her expectantly.

"Uh... Phoebe, I... I should have said it... but... uh..." Lan Chu shook her head.

Phoebe nodded in disappointment.

"It's okay. It wasn't reasonable anyway. Sorry, Ella..." Phoebe looked at the babies.

"I want to be alone with the children for a bit."

Seeing this, everyone understood what Phoebe wanted to do and handed the babies they were holding to Phoebe.

Phoebe placed the babies on her bent legs. Everyone had already left. Phoebe smiled, wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes, and the babies were crying.

"Hi, babies. It feels like just yesterday that I was talking to the petri dish... but suddenly, here you are... It's just a pity... that your mother isn't me... But if I can't be your mom, I'll be your coolest aunt..."

Phoebe took a deep breath.

"Alright, since you're all crying, I won't say any more. Finally, let's high-five...

Bye..."
