Chapter two:
High above the streets of Metropolis, Kara Danvers was locked in battle. Her opponent wore a similar custom to her, but his skin was white as chalk, and his body distorted. This was an imperfect Superman clone, otherwise known as.....
Bizarro!
Kara Danvers knocked the clone through the air with a punch. Bizarro managed to steady himself, and flew towards Kara Danvers at breathtaking speed.
"Overgirl no hurt Bizarro!" Said Bizarro.
He made contact with Kara Danvers, and forced her downwards towards the city. They hurtled downwards with such velocity that, upon contact, they created a trench in the concrete of the street. As Bizarro rose this his feet, he grinned at the unconscious Kara Danvers.
"Heh heh.... Bizarro saved the day! Bizarro is a hero! Bizarro, ungh!" Replied Bizarro.
A punch to the jaw cut his speech. As he rolled backwards down the street, Kara Danvers rose to her feet and launched herself towards Bizarro. She then proceeded to deliver a flurry of punches to the clone, knocking him into the nearest skyscraper.
"You rock, Overgirl!"
Kara Danvers smiled at the group of teenagers who had stayed on the street to watch. Just then, loud groaning was heard as Bizarro clambered back onto the street.
"Not fair! Bizarro supposed to win! He promised!" Said Bizarro.
"You promised?" Replied Kara Danvers.
But Bizarro flew towards her again, Lois Lane blocked every punch that Bizarro threw at her, before throwing her arms out, forcing Bizarro backwards.
"Kick his butt, Overgirl!"
Amidst more cheers from the growing crowd, Kara Danvers sped forward. Bizarro flew upwards to avoid her, and turned around as his eyes began to glow blue. Beams then shot from his eyes, and as they made contact with the approaching Kara Danvers, she was quickly frozen solid.
"Oh no! Look at that! C'mon Overgirl!" Said Bizarro.
The crowd watched in shock as the block of ice which entrapped Kara Danvers fell to the ground. Bizarro swaved to and flew in the air, in an awkward dance of celebration at his victory.
"Bizarro is the winner! Bizarro is the winner!" Replied Bizarro.
"Wait, look." Said one of the teenagers.
A small boy in the crowd pointed to the block of ice. As everyone looked, they could see that the ice was beginning to melt, due to the red dots of pure heat glowing at the top.
"It's Overgirl's heat vision!" Replied the boy.
"Huh?" Said Bizarro.
As the ice began to crack, Bizarro turned his attention. Suddenly, with a almighty smash, the ice block shattered. As everyone shielded themselves from the ice shard's, Kara Danvers rocketed upwards, grabbed Bizarro by his custom, and threw him down onto the concrete of the street.
As the crowd cheered, Kara Danvers descended to the ground, as Bizarro struggled to rise.
"Give up Bizarro. This is pointless." Replied Kara Danvers.
"No.... Bizarro must fight. Bizarro not want to make him angry." Said Bizarro.
"Who? Lex Luthor?" Replied Kara Danvers.
Bizarro roared angrily, and threw a punch, which Kara Danvers caught with her hand. Bizarro groaned in pain as he felt his bones crack.
"Last chance, Bizarro.... give up now!" Said Kara Danvers.
"Bizarro no give up!" Replied Bizarro.
"Alright then, if that's what you want." Said Kara Danvers.
Kara Danvers swung her arm back, and threw an uppercut that sent Bizarro flying into the air. Kara Danvers flew upwards as her fist met Bizarro's falling body, the clone was sent rocketing forwards, crashing into the side of a building.
"Yeah! Your the girl, Overgirl! You kicked his butt! We love you, Overgirl!" Said the crowd.
The crowd cheered, whistled and yelled after Overgirl, as she flew across to pick up Bizarro's lifeless body as he fell from the building side. However, not everyone revelled in the Woman of Steel's latest victory.
"No, no, no!" Replied Lex Luthor.
In the executive office of Lex Corp, Lex Luthor vented his anger at yet another failed attempt at destroying Overgirl.
"That pathetic reject! It was supposed to be the ultimate weapon against that villain freak, and once again, it has failed me!" Said Lex Luthor.
Once again he slammed his fist down.
"Lex, calm down." Replied Mercy Graves.
"Don't tell me to calm down!" Said Lex Luthor.
"Just listen to me Lex. There are some other options open to us, that android Metallo for instance." Replied Mercy Graves.
"No, you don't understand! Just killing her isn't enough anymore!" Said Lex Luthor.
"Lex?" Replied Mercy Graves.
Lex Luthor groaned as he looked out the window. He could see the crowd cheer Overgirl as she flew off, with the lifeless Bizarro in tow.
"Listen to those fools. Cheering that overpowered fool. They probably don't even consider how easily she could crush them into dust!" Said Lex Luthor.
"Well that's probably because it's not in her nature. You yourself call her the girl scout, she wouldn't lay a finger on any of those people down there. She doesn't have it in her." Replied Mercy Graves.
"Oh that's where your wrong Mercy....or have you forgotten about the time when Darkseid invaded earth?" Said Lex Luthor.
"I don't think anyone will be forgetting that anytime soon." Replied Mercy Graves.
"Then you'll remember Superwoman's actions that day? She held no punches that day, did she? Were Darkseid a lesser being, Superwoman would have torn him apart!" Said Lex Luthor.
"Well if Overgirl held her punches, we'd all be dead." Replied Mercy Graves.
"Are you defending her now?" Said Lex Luthor.
"No.... I'm merely saying what they're thinking.... that her actions were justified." Replied Mercy Graves.
"But would they think the same thing if that unstoppable rage was unleashed upon them?" Said Lex Luthor.
"So... you want to turn Metropolis against her first?" Replied Mercy Graves.
"Precisely. Imagine if the citizens of Metropolis saw Overgirl as I did, they would want to take her down, by any means necessary." Said Lex Luthor.
