It's now August 15th, 2pm. Hirata, Haruto, and Vanessa meet at Beirut. Hirata arrives first, he says to himself "Man! Do these two even know what punctuality is? Seriously?"
Several minutes pass then Haruto arrives and says to Hirata "Yo!"
Hirata answere "Man you are very late, I have been waiting for quite some time you know."
Haruto "I am sorry, I will definitely work on that."
Hirata talks to himself in his head with a smug expression "Wow, I feel terrible"
5 minutes pass then Vanessa finally arrives, the moment she spots Hirata and Haruto she runs straight to them and screams "YO GUYS! HOW I MISSED YOU."
Hirata "We had literally seen each other yesterday."
Haruto says inside his head "Freak!"
Vanessa says "So, where do you want to go? Let's grab some coffee first, I suggest."
Hirata "Good idea, I need to be energized after all."
Haruto agrees in silence.
They all walk till they finally arrive to the café, then they walk in.
They order their drinks and chat with warmth and laughter.
It is now 2:45 P.M, Hirata and his friends pay the bill and walk out of the cafè. Then they continue to have fun in their day delightfully.
It is now 4:30 P.M, the sun is setting with the clouds accumulating marking the golden hour.
Hirata, Haruto, and Vanessa sit next to the seaside watching the sunset and chatting.
Hirata "I had so much fun today, thanks to you all, we should do this more often."
Haruto "I agree, it feels refreshing."
Vanessa with a genuine warm smile "Yup, we truly need to, after all these are our memories."
Then Vanessa says "Okay guys, I got to go home now, it is getting late, I will see you later. Bye!"
Vanessa then steps back and hides behind a big tree without Hirata and Haruto noticing "What are these two up to? I think it is about their experiment."
Hirata and Haruto "Hmm, bye!"
Then Hirata and Haruto stare at the sunset for a while.
Hirata says "So, shall we begin our preparations?"
Haruto "Yeah, it is time get to know the truth."
Hirata "We can't let Vanessa get involved in this, even if we hold her dear - in fact it is because we hold her dear we can't tell her about this."
Vanessa says very quietly "Guys, I truly do not know what to say for real..."
Haruto responds to Hirata by looking at him without saying a single word.
Hirata "when do you suggest? And where?"
Haruto "It is up to you, as long as Vanessa does not know."
Hirata "Then let's do it tomorrow! The earlier the better."
Haruto "I guess it is settled."
Vanessa is hiding behind a big tree "I should inform Amaru as soon as possible."
Hirata "Then let's go home and rest, tomorrow seems to be hectic."
Both of them go home and rest, then it is the next day...
Now it is August 16th 10am...
Hirata wakes up and starts getting ready, he brushes his teeth, eats breakfast, and wears his clothes, then he goes to a place to meet Haruto and from there they go to their destination.
Hiratq arrives then Haruto arrives Several minutes after. Hirata says "Yo! Good morning."
Haruto with a sleepy tone "Good morning."
Hirata "shall we go? It is time."
Haruto "yes, could not be more ready!"
Vanessa hides by blending herself in a crowd and follows Hirata and Haruto.
Then they both take a taxi to the mountains in the north of Lebanon, the journey takes about an hour and a half - both put their earphones and listen to something while on the way to kill time and talk for some time as well.
Vanessa orders a taxi and follows Hirata and Haruto's taxi and says "I got to call Amaru."
After they arrive they open the taxi's door and step out of it then close it again gently.
Then Vanessa tells to taxi to pull over where Hirata's taxi stopped then follows Hirata and Haruto.
After the taxi is gone Hirata says "We need to walk to an isolated place where no signs of life are nearby."
Haruto "yes, no inhabitants, also we should watch out for hunters."
Hirata and Haruto start walking in a forest, the sound of the birds chirping as well as the sound of cicadas and crickets dominate the place, it was really beautiful.
Hirata as he's walking "As expected, North Lebanon is as pretty as everyone says, no wonder."
Haruto "I agree, this is actually the first time I have been to the north, surely the difference is insane, I do not know how to say it but the nature here is surely different from the south, but not in a way I can explain.'
Hirata "Oh well... the south has more hills ans open lands though it is still mountainous, the north has more mountains and forests plus its cooler weather, also the north is famous for the cedar forest, who does not know it..."
Haruto "wow, you exactly said that? Nerdy..."
Hirata "Well..."
As both are walking, they stop and Hirata says "This place seems good, it is a bit open yet hidden and no signs of life here."
Vanessa then hides herself behind a tree and calls Amaru "Hey Amaru, I sent you the location! This is where they are going to do the experiment, open a portal and get here as soon as possible."
Haruto "Good, I brought all the necessary items; A book that has all the periods of English, plus some provisions that we might need."
Hirata "Alright, how shall we start?"
Haruto "I suggest not being rash, I recommend you to start with Early Modern English."
Hirata "but is that really going to work? Early Modern English and Late Modern English are very very similar."
Haruto "It is for safety, if it does not work, I guess we will have to move to Middle English."
Hirata "I guess, what should I say? Something that is not overly destructive."
Haruto points his finger to a tree branch and says "how about getting this tree branch removed without you touching it?"
Hirata responds with approval "I guess we have to start somewhere..."
Then Hirata writes on a paper and asks Haruto "Haruto, give me a dagger."
Haruto gives him the dagger and then Hirata says "This dagger shall cleave yon tree's bough."
2 seconds pass and nothing happens, as they were both going to speak, the dagger forcefully flies from Hirata's hand and then with metallic sound flies toward the tree branch that Hirata wanted to cut, then the dagger cuts through the branch within milliseconds and with metallic cutting sound.
Then the tree branch falls to the ground instantly with a heavy thud sound.
Hirata shouts out of shock "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!? DID YOU SEE THAT? IT ACTUALLY WORKED!"
Haruto "You actually did it, to think you have such powers for real."
Then a certain man hiding on a tree branch close to Hirata and Haruto instantly replies to Haruto before Hirata could reply "I agree with you, Haruto Okabe. He indeed possesses very unusual powers."
Haruto reacts instinctively "Who is there? I thought we are in an isolated place!"
The man says "No worries, I am not your foe... in fact I am here to guide you about this power of yours."
Haruto responds "How can we trust you? We can't just a stranger like that, we literally just met and rather not a pleasant meeting you know."
The man says "I apologize, I know I may have frightened you both but I also can't afford to be exposed by anyone other than you two."
Haruto "So why are you here? We are in the middle of something important."
The man interrupts and says "Testing Hirata Alex's branch of Language powers, I see, and I know everything."
Hirata reacts "H-how did you know my name? I literally have never seen you before."
Haruto says "So you have stalkers after all, I thought you were a loner."
The man says "Let me introduce myself, my name is Amaru! Your from now on sensei."
Hirata and Haruto scream "SENSEI?"
Amaru says "I will tell you everything you need to know, about your powers. Hirata Alex, Haruto Okabe."
Haruto questions "M-me? But I possess no such powers."
Amaru answers "Yes you do, though not the same Hirata. I sensed them from you and still do even the moment I am speaking."
Haruto says "Sensed? Past simple? So you have known us before... but how?"
Amaru says "well, my birdies always bring me information, Do not even try to know how."
Hirata says "Then, I have A LOT to ask Amaru sensei!"
Amaru says "So, let's begin with the first lesson shall we?"
