After the hectic day of Hirata and Haruto doing their experiment and finding Amaru, both get unready in their homes and throw themselves to sleep.
They sleep soundly and without interruption.
It is August 17th, Hirata is asleep...
Morning comes, it is 10am. Haruto calls Hirata's number and the phone rings...
Hirata answers moments later "Good morning, Haruto!" With a sleepy tone
Haruto "Hello Hirata, I though we might go out today, what do you think? Shall we? I am feeling like hanging out today, though no vanessa because I would like to talk about yesterday "
Hirata with a sleepy tone "Yes sure! I would also like to talk about to yesterday, I would also call it a celebration as well because I believe that yesterday was a victory for us towards uncovering the secrets of the Unrecorded!"
Haruto "Yes, you are correct."
Then Hirata gets up from bed and goes to the bathroom then he washes his face, after this he brushes his teeth and takes a quick shower. After he showers he dresses and sprays perfume to smell elegant then he goes out.
Now for Haruto's point of view, he gets up earlier than Hirata. Haruto woke up at 8am, he washed his face, brushed his teeth, and showered then wore something comfortable and made a cup of coffee then Haruto sat and read something in his free time, then he calls Hirata at 10am.
Hirata then exits the house and proceeds towards the designated meeting point that he and Haruto had agreed upon.
After Hirata's arrival he waits for Haruto's arrival, he is late again. Out of frustration Hirata says "He is at it again, I see! What a terrible punctuality." While facepalming.
Hirata talks to himself while he is waiting for Haruto "So, Haruto has powers as well– I am truly so happy for him!"
15 minutes elapse while Hirata continues to await for Haruto's arrival
Hirata "Man, Is he even going to come at this point? He is 15 minutes late!"
A minute later, Haruto emerges in the midst of the crowd, making his way toward Hirata.
The moment Haruto arrives Hirata screams at Haruto "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES!"
Haruto Responds with awkwardness "O-oh... I am sorry, I will work on it."
Hirata replies with a pissed off yet calm expression "Seriously? You literally said that last time... anyway– shall we go?"
Haruto "Yes, of course!"
Haruto talks to himself in his head with a terrified tone "He is going to kill me if I do this."
Hirata and Haruto walk in the city of zahle and then walk inside a cafè then order something to drink and both sit.
Hirata starts talking "So Haruto, you have powers after all– I was right."
Haruto replies "I cannot believe it to be honest, it is insane to think I possess them..."
Hirata replies "I believe Amaru sensei! Also there is a probable proof that I can give you, though it is not confirmed yet."
Haruto "Let me hear your claim, when it comes to hunches, I trust you."
Hirata "Remember when you talked about how your father was sucked in a portal?"
Haruto "Yes, what about it? Does it have a connection with me?"
Hirata "What if that portal was opened by you? Like you actually triggering the portal to open– unconsciously."
Haruto shows a sign of surprise and then shifts into contemplative mode, as if he is seated and deeply pondering, though for a slight moment.
Haruto speaks "Now that you mention it, I have never actually given it much thought– such as who activated it and barely wondered how it was even activated."
Hirata "See? Do you remember feeling anything back then?"
Haruto "I do not know exactly, my rage and astonishment were utterly overwhelming me, leaving me incapable of clear though."
Hirata with a calm and slow tone "I see, your judgment was cloudy... I think we should ask Amaru sensei."
Haruto "I agree, though I trust him, I still can't believe that I possess a branch of power."
Hirata "I told you, did not I?"
Both chuckle and drink their drinks
Then Haruto suddenly says "Imagine if Vanessa knows about all of this and she is hiding from us, that would be funny frankly."
Hirata "Seriously? Vanessa?" With a smug face.
Haruto "Just kidding!" Then Haruto shifts to a morr serious tone "Seriously speaking, we need to keep Vanessa out of this no matter what! Her safe matters to us."
Hirata "I totally agree, though for some reason I do not think she is weak."
Hirata then requests the check.
Then they both pay and leave the restaurant.
It is now 5pm– the golden hour;
Hirata "Wait– I actually forgot to mention this, but how do we call or get called by Amaru sensei?"
Haruto "Now that you mention it, that is right!"
Then Amaru suddenly materializes behind Hirata, seemingly from nowhere then says "I am here guys! What do you want?"
Both Hirata and Haruto get freaked out by his sudden appearance and say "AMARU SENSEI? H-HOW DID YOU COME HERE?"
Amaru "I heard my name so I thought I'd answer you both."
Hirata and Haruto give Amaru an awkward smile.
Amaru speaks "Regarding your question, I will see you in the designated place tomorrow, get ready for a lesson tomorrow."
Hirata "Yes sir! Looking forward to tomorrow's lesson, we have a lot of questions."
Haruto "Looking forward."
Then they conclude their day by strolling through the city, engaging in conversation about university and other trivial matters they enjoy. Then they both go to their homes at the end of the day.
